I was hoping that sex would lead to her leaving her bitch tendencies behind, but I see that I was mistaken. I was feeling empathy for the lose of her husband due to illness but now I feel nothing but an intense dislike. Chris I am so proud that you told your sperm donor about himself and that you resigned your job. That's right Chris do the things and the people (nudge, nudge, wink wink) that make you happy. Forget about that tramp, but I do hope that apologizes for treating a man that she said was a friend like trash!!!

Poor Chris. I feel bad for advising him to tell Allegra his feelings now. I can't feel sorry or feel any sympathetic feelings for her. She acted jealous and like a b*tch behind Isobel, she pushed until he told her what he wanted and then just abandoned him. I know that this reinforces all the feelings of low self-esteem and self worth that he already has. I wouldn't blame him if he became completely disillusioned behind women. I mean, he told her he loved her to the point of death....I can't get forgive her myself.

I feel so bad for Chris. He doesn't deserve this kind of treatment, no one does. She wanted him to be honest with her and now that he did, she just leaves without saying anything? I get that she is confused and still loves her late husband. But she doesn't need to act like such a bitch. So having sex is okay but when emotions are involved its not okay anymore?
Please don't let Chris go running after her and beg for her to take him. I'm sorry but Allegra doesn't deserve it. He needs to leave her alone. Its her lost anyway. And when she comes back, he needs to give er a piece of her own medicine. Let her suffer a little and then after that give her a chance. She needs to learn that she is not the only one who is suffering. I don't like Allegra at the moment.

Thank God Chris has some dignity. He thinks that she doesn't love him at all so there's no point in her being with him if that would make him unhappy.
The way she treated him is almost inhumane. She didn't even consider him and the fact that she didn't respond seems to suggest that she doesn't really care that much to even say no to him. I agree. He shouldn't give her a chance if she'll ask for it easily. She doesn't really deserve it.
And don't worry. I don't like Allegra either.

This chapter just really broke my heart, I feel so bad for Chris. He trying so hard to show Allegra he loves her and she just keeps playing with his emotions. She's so confused and her confusion is just hurting Chris. It must have been so hard for him to finally confess to her and she just walks away. I don't get her, why get jealous over his friendship with another woman if you dont want him?

Well said. I got really emotional when I finished writing that chapter. I was hurt just as much as Chris. Being treated like he didn't deserve any response even a rejection if that was the case, did dangerous things to his already low self confidence. He didn't want to tell her till the end and still she broke his heart so badly I don't even know if he'll ever recover from this blow. I totally agree with you Allegra's confusion is ruining everything. But I think we should realise that Allegra still doesn't admit having feelings for Chris. She knows that she's attracted to him and she doesn't mind the sex if feelings are not involved, I guess. We'll see how all this mess will go.
