Now that you mention it, there were a few instances I had cocked an eyebrow when reading this chapter...the voice was kinda off. Not in a big way...just a little off...in a small way. BUT. Im still loving this story and cant get enough of Aiden and Lily. Hope everything works out for you and the must and life....all the best!

Blair's plan back fired. Instead, she bought Lily and Aiden closer. Those two are such an awesome couple.
As for Aiden's father, I feel sorry that he cancer but can't expect his son to do the song and dance for him. After all, he was a neglectful father. Aiden is the way he is today because of him.

I know everyone a screwball in this story, but Alex is in his own catergory. He knew from the start Blair was only having a casual thing with him. Don't be mad at Aiden becuase he got taste of Blair's cookie. If it wasn't him it would have been some other guy. Instead he should have thought good ridence, I avoided marrying a hoe.
As for Blair... I see her as being trouble for Aiden and Lily down the road. Aiden was never into her. He set tone of their relationship by making her his booty call. He never said I love you. Furthermore I don't even think Aiden likes her.
With Lily I think Aiden sees the missing component in his life. He did comment about how he like having someone to go home to. Lily offers a balance to his life. She's sweet, caring and every thing "not" Blair. He can be free with Lily.Lily almost makes feel like a normal person.

Alex and Aiden have a pissing war going on, and Lily stuck in the middle. Alex in the end will be on the losing side. There is a bond between Aiden and Lily. They have that it factor.

Very nice, wel done chapter to follow what happened in the previous.
Loved how Aiden handled Blair and how he's going to handle Alex. I don't really thing Aiden hates Alex; he may not like him but he has no reason to hate him. Aiden is a sharper more focused lawyer, while Alex feels he is previleged because he went to Harvard. Alex is jealous but he's also hurt and it's why he wanted to explain to Lily why he did what he did. He needs to understand why he dd what he did also...Alex is going through many differet emotions at the same time and it is a very difficult learning experience for him. I do admire him for wanting to apologize to Lily.
Lily's not so much so angry as she is hurt that Alex betrayed her trust...after all Aiden still does't know she never even had a boyfriend in high school; Alex knows that. Alex figured out that she was a virgin while Aiden just found out. She is now realizing that he kindness shown by Alex was all fake while the sharpness and rudeness shown by Aiden was out of admiration. She's gonna be confused but one thing that Aiden's going to do is keep Lily to himself and in his own way innocent.
Owen, is so wise...my love for him has grown.
I feel sorry but Blair because Bobby likes Aiden more than he likes her and he's not about to cross Aiden for two reasons:- 1) Aiden's the better lawyer and 2) he like him more than her. Blair's money is not going to help her out of this mess.
An excellent job on this chapter...I, like the rest of your readers, can't wait to read the next.

I had to read this again before going the next chapter. Its that good...esp. the buildup. Your quality of writing is better than most of the self-published authors Ive read of amazon.com. And your storyline and dailogue is so well executed its refreshing because it brings out the story to its fullest potential...of how it should be.
