I think they'd have to have a deep intense relationship if they've promised their children to marry.

Or they could be utterly ruthless and secretly antagonistical, hoping to gain control of the other's empires  - thru sacrificing a child.

There has to be something to be held over Cameron's head because once she reaches her majority she can undo whatever "arrangement" her father got her into.  Unless the father has no idea what his arrangment is actually giving her which is her freedom.

What does Camerons father do? Is he rich? Does he have global business interests? You hinted that him and Bastian's father were "close" at Oxford, but what does that mean? Have they kept in touch over the years? Do they do business together? How did the arrangement between Cameron and Bastian come to be? If theeir relationship is one of competition and blackmail, then it could explain why Cameron is being sent to the UK. It would be the perfect way to ensure the favorite son (Bastian) leads a normal life, if he is set up with a wife.

I like Judahlove Anonymous idea that the two fathers relationship should be a relationship where we question their motives at first.  But in the end they are actually very close like brothers. I do like the idea that the two fathers might have made the pact in order to protect Cameron from her mother and in hopes that the two would fall in love with each other and heal each others wounds.  

I think it should be a relationship where things are not what they seem, where you actually question the motive of both involved. It seems like its a pact between two good friends and Cameron father seems weak and easily maniuplated by the wife. but is he? Is he as pliable as she thinks?

Why would Bastien father arrange a union for him years before his accident. to what gain? Is it finacial or love for a childhood friend, a way that they've come up with to free Cameron from her mother clutches and now they hope that the two will fall in love for real

Interesting start on both starts. when will they meet? Will B know that he's to marry Cameron? How will she react to his disabilty? I don't think it should matter that he's in a wheelchair. imperfect princes are more human. Despite the tingling in his foot/leg, I don't mind that he's in a wheelchair.

The only thing I would mind would be an ugly triangle between A, B and C. LOL, did you choose those alphabetical names intentionally?

Good thing is that even though she is forced to go, they can't force her hand in marriage. Therefor, all she has to do us keep her heart to her self. Tough task, but we will see how she handles it. Btw keep up the good job. :)

An update!!

I feel for Bastien. He's going to explode holding all this in. He's going to have to hash this out with Alec. And Alec is going to carry this guilt for life, really. How could he not?
