Sierra has issues who decides to live their life like that.  Sierra makes my teeth itch, Jake remain strong Sierra doesn't deserve you!  Please don't let her back in Jake move on with Monica.

Very intense story.  Sierra has selective hearing, bc she heard Jake say he didn't blame her, but it's as though she didn't notice him not stating he still loved her.  I hope she gets well and gets Viktor. 

Jake can still care and love Sierra, but the trust is gone.  If he goes back to her, then he is not what Monica needs and she should remove herself from the drama.

How can Sierra allow the man to do to her what was done to her mom---I mean your  whole family was taken from you and you just give up?  Why did she even go to Victor in the first place if she loved Jake?  This story is very good and I look forward to the updates.

Jake is right, Sierra definitely needs to get better for herself before she can even think about moving forward in her life. 

Wooow, the things Viktors father and now Viktors himself have done/are doing to Sierras mother and her over some money that Sierras dad borrowed! I hope Viktors gets what's coming to him.

Thanks for writing this story. When there is a drug addict in your family it is like the whole family is into this crazed situation; none remains unscathed. As much you want to help, to take the pain away, the journey is for the addict. That is not to say family and friends shouldnt examine themselves and see if and how they are contributing to the situation perhaps as an enabler or something else all together. I believe your story reflects the reality of an addict and th closest to them. At some point Sierra has to realise. It's not about Jake. Sierra must do seek her own redemption to get herself out of the destructive situation in which she now finds herself. Well done!

OK, I wanted to read all of the updates before I commented. I am LOVING this story. I love the characters, the story.....everything. 

I hope that there is at least a small part of Sierra that wants to get hep for herself and not just to show Jake that she can. I understand why Jake has given up: he has given so much of himself to Sierra only to have it blow up in his face. I know he's going to TRY to move on, but I see him dropping everything (and everyone) as soon as Sierra needs him. I like Monica alot. I think she is good to and for Jake, but I get the feeling they won't be endgame. I hope Jake doesn't hurt her too bad and that she finds someone to love her the way she deserves to be loved.

Jake and Monica seem like cool people but I'm just really here for Sierra.

(I just want her to do good) No one deserves that life and I hate to see people talk or think bad about people who have to go through that.

This is so sad, interesting and realistic. I can't help but be affected by Sierra choices. I feel sorry for her and despice her for not trying to better herself. I'm looking forward to more, a ahve a feeling i shouldn't be so hopeful for Sierra's recovery after all the title of the book explains some things.Thank you, more please.

The flashback made me dislike Sierra even more.  She has hit rock bittom but was it the beating that she took, Jake tossing her ass out, or realizing that she was all alone?  She is alone because of the choices that she made.  Jake you are being stupid Sierra is not worth losing your life ovee.!

I agree with many reviewers, it's damn good that your characters are raw like that, no place for hypocrisy. Jake was courageous by confronting the woman he loves and pointing out her cowardice. But unlike many, I like Sierra, because even if she abuses drugs, I think it's a state of turmoil where you fight against yourself, but end up choosing the easiest way, that is the drug. I like her because if Jake loves her, it means she is worth our interest, and makes me want to know more about their past, to see her fight against her addiction (if she is bond to). Like we see him rushing to beat Viktor, Jake will never abandon her, even if we hurt, it takes a very hard blow to abaandon our loved ones. So I understand his weakness towards her. This moment melted my already too soft heart ! Your cast is perfect, Cilian Murphy is too sexy for his own good, how can I hate such a Viktor (for now...) !
