Interesting story. And I like the characters. Simone is smart and brave to travel halfway around the world for her dream.  Jiro is a character and it looks like he is beginning to fall for Simone.  And Simone and Ryu look headed for more than just attraction.  Looking forward to more updates.

These two are so comical.

The reason why Ryu dislikes Simone and Americans is because they don't respect his heritage and they are shaddy? Ryu seem like a smart fella so he should know that all races can be shaddy and disrespectful including his. Heck his own race has people up to no good. That means he would have to dislike his family and himself if thats the case.

There is going to be problems between the brothers and that is something else Ryu is going to blame Simone for.

Simone is slow I knew from the first meeting that she'd be attracted to Ryu and not Jiro.  What is Ryu's major malfunction?   It all can't be a shady business deal with an American landowner,  there must be a woman involved? Good stuff!!

  Despite what others think, she continues to move forward despite any setbacks in her path and she holds her head high.  It seems that the situation with Ryu continues to come to the centerfold of her mind and that can be emotionally stressful.   Simone has a real talent and that is why she is there now with the chance of a lifetime, no pun intended.  In a strange county with little to no knowledge but she is determined and that is true dedication.  Happy holidays and a happy new year.

I am enjoying this story I am glad I found it.  It would seem that Ryu has a chip on his shoulder about the Eastern part of the world.  He did not bother to ask or try and get to know Simone before he was ready to past judgement.

The last time I read this story it did not indicate that he had the power to read minds so how could he say she was hiding something from his father.  She just did not want to be pitied and wants to do her job on the merits of her performance not the fact that she lived in a povished neighborhood and only had her mother and sister then her nephew as family which she loves and respects dearly and misses.

Ryu need to remove the stick from his behind.

Really good chapter I'm so happy that Simone is such a strong character with a tough personality. I'm excited for the hopefully upcoming romance but I find myself even more excited about her proving everyone whose doubting her skill and determination wrong. It's something about her giving everyone a metephorical finger when she suceeds. Anyways this chapter was really good I feel so proud of Simone and hope you update soon.

it seems that something is in the works.  Ryu seems rather cold but there has to be a reason.  His reaction to colliding into her was strange considering his cold demeanor.  I believe this is the first of many situations to come.
