What wonderful story between to lost souls.

Loving this story.

Poor Lance, so his wife suffered from depression, did she kill her son then herself?  That was extremely selfish if she did.  Why did his friends desert him when he needed their support?  They weren't real friends then were they?  Don't harden heart, you need Lance and Lance needs you.

EXCELLENT!!!! I love this story. Nina is such a sweet soul. Yes, I think she should back off with Lance. What she is doing is incredibly nice, BUT Lance has to do something for himself and even though he has issues, his hasty dismisal of her was not necessary. You can gently get rid of someone without being rude. I can understand his hesitance and maybe even shame, but being rude to her was unnecessary. He's right, she does not know him, but he knows those meals she has been bringing everyday. Again, I am sure he would tell anyone, 'I didn't ask her for anything, she didn't have to bring me meals,' and this is true, but he still took the meals. So, Nina leaving Lance alone for now is what is best, I think. If I had beem through what she had, Lance would not have to tell me twice either. I would not get set-up again for unnecessary pain just because I could not leave well enough alone.

Now in Lance's defense I do not think he would do that to Nina, but Nina does not know this because like he said she does not know him and vice versa. I would be grateful for him helping me and I am sure Nina is, but I would back off of Lance. She is a kind soul, but those are usually the ones who get taken advantage of the most and again, I do not think Lance would knowingly hurt Nina, but she does not know this so leaving him be is what is best for right now. Let Lance make the next move, the ball is literally in his court. He has to want better for himself. His family is gone and that has to be a horrible feeling, but they would not want him living like this. He has to want better and if he doesn't I hope Nina leaves him alone for good, because she does not need someone who will bring her down and who is feeling sorry for themselves. Like I said, he has had a bad past so know one really knows what they will do and how they will cope, one can only hope and pray, if they can, that it is not like so many other people who end up homeless and worse. More please!!!

lol, is right. she's a peeper. That creased me up. Is Lance getting all pissy because he's got some feelings for Nina? And after her episode with that Jared person, she has a right to be skittish.

She ain't finished trying to help Lance. they have spooked each other with how much they care.  Lance is fine specimen!!!  I can't wait to learn more about Lance. Nina and Lance can be the balm for each others hurts.

What happened to his family?  Who broke her heart? More please, more of them together.

on the next chapter i would love for you to get into detail about what happen to lance. he sounds like a sweet guy, i wonder what happen to his wife and kid who killed them.

How did his family die?  Was his driving drunk ? That waitress worked my last nerve!!! I love Lance!
