If you ask me...I'd say that Brandy acted a bit childishly...didn't she but a few moments before make a vow to trust her man...but at the first hint of trouble...she's ready to bolt and run...and I'm not excusing Maks' behavior...a man putting his hands on his woman is never acceptable...no matter if it was done in the heat of passion or out of fear of losing her...he acted irrationally too...but at least he pulled himself up and apologized immediately...Maks is a man that I feel at times is too passionate...he loves Brandy I have no doubt about that...but he is also very possessive of her...he has trust issues too...but not to the extent that Brandy has them...Brandy is right...they shouldn't rush into anything...at least until they work out some of their issues...about him doing the Bachelor show...if it's just a contractual obligation as Maks has stated...then neither one of them have anything to worry about...right...but I understand how hard it would to watch my man on a 'dating' show with him as the 'prize'...and Maks should be a bit more understanding since he blew his top when Bran was on Lopez talking about flirting with some cop when they weren't even in a committed relationship at the time...yep, they need to both cool off and then they do need to talk like two grown adults...

Kelly...Kelly...what's going on babe...Val rocked your world last night...and she's worried about what other people will think about her if she starts openly dating him...that girl has issues too...and she should know better than most that age ain't nothing but a number...she could be throwing away the best thing that ever happened to her before she even gave it a chance...at least give the man a chance to really get to know you...that's all he's asking for right now...

Yeah, Serena was foul with how she handled the situation with Kelly and Jamar...especially when Kel's been her girl...I still don't understand why she just didn't simply pull her over to the side earlier and explain the situation to her like a real woman...you don't blindside your friends like that...humiliate them publicly...foul, foul, foul...so now she's contrite and wants to right the wrong...but guess what...she's on Kel's timetable...not hers...Brandy gave her some sage advice...hope she takes it...wow...these women are something else when it comes to matters of the heart...it's strange how they can see each other's situation with so much clarity and goof their own love lives up...

Loved the update and can't wait to hear the Kelly/Serena conversation...and Maks and Brandy...you've got me scared for them...can they work it out...because they surely can't live happily without each other...thanks so much for sharing this amazing story...and sorry for being so long-winded this time...

I think that Maks should do the show.  It will only strengthen their relationship.  Hopefully, once and for all remove any doubts that Brandy has.  You don't miss your water until the well has run dry.  Kelly and Val I'm rooting for.  I really hope it works out.  Kelly and Serena....let her suffer a little....hopefully she will grow up.  Then, maybe their relationship will be stronger.  Certain things friends just don't do.

Very, very well written. ALL of these love stories are beautiful, but I get what you're saying about the much-needed positive portrayal. Please update soon.

It's been a long time since I've reviewed...not because I've lost interest...I've been greedily consuming every update as you put them up...just haven't had much time to review...but didn't want you to think that you had lost my interest...quite the contrary...I love this story!!!

Well, well, well, it seems that Jamaica's living up to its name as being the 'Isle of Love'...Maks and Brandy...Kelly and Val...now Serena and Jamar...hmmm, wonder what Serena's response would have been to him had she not been so worn out and fell asleep...I really like them together...but it was still rank what Serena did to her girl, Kelly...she should have been upfront with her...but at least she's shown remorse...she just let her heart get in the way of her common sense and courtesy...

Not only can I not wait for when Brandy and Maks return to the States...wonder also what the future holds for these fledgling couples of Kelly and Val...Serena and Jamar...

Kelly and Val seem very interesting to me. Maybe Kelly will deny deny deny with Val and continue the cat and mouse game. I think it would actually be better this way for now, and more interesting ;)

Does Serena actually have feelings for this Jamar dude? I want to know what she has to say for herself in the next chapter. 

 I can't wait for the chapter when Brandy and Maks get back to the states....the Erin confrontation will make for some interesting writing and a great read!

This whole story is amazing! When are you going to update? I just keep reading it over and over and cannot get enough.

I realize that I've already written a review, but I had to say thank you again.  This is the sixth time that I've read this chapter.  I love how you include the most important people in Maks and Brandy's lives in this story.  I would never had thought to put Val and Kelly together but I'm loving it.  I can't wait to see what comes next.

Hey there Nakia, I have been reading this story since the beginning, and I don't know why I haven't left a review, but this is a not only a WELL WRITTEN story but its HAWT as well... every character has chemesty with eachother.

Brandy and Maks were HOT on DWTS, the only other partner I loved Makes with was Laila Ali....(IMO I think he has a crush on her)

I think that Kelly will try to run from her feelings for Val, but knowing Val, he won't let her.... they are going to be FUN to watch...oh and thier love scene... I need some ICE WATER.

Serena needs to be HONEST with Jamar, she should have done that in the first place.. and she needs to apologize to both Brandy and Kelly especially.
