I feel Alex's pain. Although I'm still in my 20s, I can't help but to look at the 21 and under and wish I was that carefree again.

That was an awesome look into Alexx's mind. It's normal she would feel like an outsider among the young and pretty in the lab. Alexx is a fierce and confident woman, but it's nice to see her in her weaker moments.

Oh, wow. Really good look at the idea of aging.
Poor Alexx. She really needs Ryan to come along and tell her how vibrant and sexy she really is. Sometimes a woman needs to hear it from someone other than the man she's married to/

Okay, this was just really lovely.
There was so much heart in this, if felt so damn raw. That realization she had was so universal, I think every woman has something like that at some point, regardless of their age. An appraisal of themselves that doesn't really measure up, a feeling of inadequacy that bubbles to the surface. The moment you realize you're at a different place in your life than you were before.
Sigh...I really loved this. Excellent work.

Another great one shot iheartng. I love how you write Alexx. It's amazing I've never watched this show or her character but with your stories I feel like I'm getting to know her one piece at a time. I loved how the club slowly began to erode her self esteem a little at a time and how she found herself yearning for youth again where before she didn't really think about it. Great ending, her fleeing to the comfort of her home, her husband and children. I really liked it as you can tell LOL.
