One Life to Live 

Evangeline Williamson is a brilliant attorney with a pragmatic approach to life and who always tried to do the right thing when it came to her clients and her job.  But it all come crashing down after her most notorious client, Todd Manning, is found guilty and later exonerated of a crime he didn’t commit. Her career and reputation gasping at death’s door, Evangeline accepts Todd’s offer to become chief counsel for Buchanan Enterprises, a company he’s recently acquired through a hostile takeover.  

The pay is substantial and the perks keep coming.  But there’s no client more demanding than Todd Manning and two years later Evangeline has had enough of living his chaotic life instead of her own. She tells him as much and gives him two weeks notice to find a replacement, forcing Todd to realize just how desperate he is to keep her in his life—not only as his attorney but as the woman who’s stolen his heart.

When the time comes and you find yourself at a crossroad... who will you be... what will you do?

Evangeline Wiiliamson lays in a coma after an attack by a white supremacy group.  Todd Manning wants to take her for an unorthodox treatment that may possibly increase the chances of awakening the sleeping beauty.   However, her family has barred him from her side and refused his offer of help.  As Evangeline runs out of time, Todd decides that drastic times call for drastic measures and audaciously takes matters into his own hands, believing in his heart that there are just some risks that are worth taking.  

Meanwhile, a mysterious Asian, who unwittingly stumbles onto the latest and possibly the most outrageous of Manning's schemes, intervenes, but the fiesty younger Williamson sister, Layla, isn't exactly grateful for his "assistance".  Stalwartly fighting her fear of the stranger, she eventually manages to turn the tables on him.  Yet when freed from his clutches, she can't help but wonder who this mystery man is, what his role is in the "scheme" of things and why she can't seem to get him out of her mind.

My response to the My Number One Challenge

Evangeline is a woman uncertain of her future plans and her fledgling relationship with RJ is not going as expected. On the other hand Todd wants to break free from his destructive relationship with Blair. “Destined to be together” These two own this phrase but there are always obstacles to overcome before this becomes a reality.
