I'm SO glad you updated because I absolutely LOVE this story.  Preston has some nerve coming at Alexx like that.  I'm pretty sure that chapter is closed and hopefully that talk with Wolfe goes well because he does the unnecessary and digs up dirt she already knows about.

LOL.  Man, Preston is taking a beating in the reviews.  I just want to say that he's human and has baggage just like we all do about certain things that shape our view point for better or for worse.  But yes, on the face of it, he's acted like a big ol' donkey to Alexx.  As far as this tirade ensuring him being out of the running, that's not exactly guaranteed. Can't really say more. lol  But a few things will be aired by Ryan and Preston.

Title: Chapter 4: Chapter Three

Everytime I reread this chapter I get mad at Preston.  The nerve!  He's with Christina and thinks everything is okay but since Alexx is digging Ryan, she suddenly has no love for black men?  Ugh, I swear men get on my nerves with their double standards.
