No need to be mad at Donovan. He's done nothing wrong here. He sees a beautiful, single woman he's interested in and is going after her. What Matt is going through is his problem at the moment.

And how is Matt gonna get all crazy about Taylor after JC reminded him that it's his own fault that he's not with Taylor? He doesn't want to talk about it? Well, he'd better get to saying something to her if he hopes to even try to win her back. At some point, she's gonna want to know.

And him acting all blase and flirty-flirty like nothing's ever happened kinda makes me ill. Like he just wants her to foget all that other jazz cuz he's back now and ready for her, so she should be ready for him. Ughh!! He needs to chill with that and focus on trying to win her friendship back. Because there could be a million Donovans or none, her problem is still with Matt. That's what Matt needs to contend with.

So Donovan's out, but he was never in I guess...lol...the story is about a second chance at love huh? Again though, why doesn't anyone like Donovan? He's done nothing wrong here except like Taylor, a single woman. He's not going to get her, but he's not a bad guy at all.

Umm..again...why is everyone hatin' on Donovan? I'm reading trying to find where he's been shady at in word or deed and I just dont see it. Donovan knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about Taylor and Matt's history, nor is he taking advantage of her. From his point of view--and at the time the TRUTH-- he's trying to date a SINGLE woman currently not in a committed relationship. She has never once told him or showed him for that matter, that his advances werent welcome. It would be different if she told him and he then tried to force the issue, but that's hardly the case. She's told him nothing thus far, so he's operating on the assumption that she is free emotionally to pursue a relationship with him if she wishes. 

As far as Donovan knows with Matt, if he like her also, then may the best man win. And like any man, he's trying to make sure that he's the best man.

While she may be a bit naive in her view of racism today...hard to believe, but ok...this isn't an opportunity to pick on her either. This was Matt's decision...alone. Let's not forget that. Matt gets no pass on this, nor sympathy, because he didn't go to his partner, the one who was right in the trenches with him....TAYLOR...for help with it. It's not like he had just woken up and realized they were an interracial couple and what that may imply.

Matt catching hell for admitting his heart....umm....so did she! Did she not tell him...which he had no clue and probably never thought about really...about all the white women telling her that she was just a colorful past time for him. A piece of booty that meant nothing and that once he was done he would go back to where he belonged. That she wasn't good enough for him because she was black. Can you imagine how that must have made her feel? That's catching hell to me! But she dealt with it because she thought they were in it together. Then to find out that's the reason he left her in order to further his career, because he bought into the notion that her color was a professional liability to him. That hurts. She should be mad. Notice he didn't come to find her until after he retired professionally.

However, clearly she still loves him. He was her first.....everything. I guess you really don't forget that.

But I still contend that they have alot to talk about. How does she know that he wouldn't cave again under pressure? She needs to know that he's strong enough as a man, as her man, to stand up for her if need be. It would be unrealistic if her confidence in him wasn't severly shaken upon hearing his explanation. How could it not be.

Its what I expected of her. Its reasonable. Work it out y'all.

LOL... Oh so now she's predictable... LOL

I just have to keep saying that Matt does almost ok until he starts talking about how hard he had it after he left her. Who the hell cares? He did the leaving so stop all the damn whining. No one is gonna feel sorry for him for that. Good for Taylor, because they really do have to build something new now. Trust has to be regained here.

Donovan...my man! Dont even get caught up in all that drama! He's a good guy, so no harm no foul. The peace can be maintained and he and Taylor can remain good friends. And Matt better not say one damn word about! Its not his business. Donovan has been nothing but respectful and decent to Taylor, and was man enough to let Matt know he was going to bow out and let them handle their business. Cant ask for more.
