Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6 Black and Blue

Great chapter!

Honestly, I'm team Rory.  Yes, the guy is the biggest, hottest mess.  However, he's mentally ill.  No he doesn't have hallucinations, no he doesn't have multiple personalities, but he has a true mental illness.  He pushed her into a glass table, by accident.  I'm sure whatever he did to contribute to her blindness was an accident.  That does not mean that he is excused of his cheating, or what other jerk behavior he did, but some of this stuff is a result of his illness.  And he deserves help.  I feel like he's extremely sensitive and deep down a decent person.  I honestly do feel for the guy.  He needs people in his corner who recognizes that, and I think that Mallory and even Declan both do, but Mallory is still Raw from everything.  But she seems so patient regarding his OCD, and that's not something he would easily find elsewhere.  I don't think they are beyond the point of repair at all.  I've seen couples go through way worse and never even break up.

I'm not seeing romance between Declan and Mallory at all.  It's just not even there to me.  However, I do like Declan as a character.  Good guys are needed too, and I don't find that aspect of him boring or dull.  I just don't think he's for Mallory.

Author's Response:

First, thank you for your kind words.  This story has its difficulties but it's rewarding to write. I especially love the complexity of Rory, Mallory and Declan's relationship.  I think that Mallory and Rory have this unspoken bond that is shattered and it takes the two of them to find that healing peace. It will be interesting to see how they journey toward that peace.

Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1 : Chance Meeting

OMG I just realized this is your story as well. Shows you have diversity that you don't write the same themes over and over. And you write THE best characters. I respect the fact that they aren't perfect.  And I like them anyway.  I'm into this so far.

Author's Response:

Thanks! I only starting reading IR stories last year and I instantly got hooked. Problem was, I kept seeing the same thing. What better way to change that than to just do it yourself? So, here I am :D. I appreciate your kind words and I hope you continue to enjoy the story.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!
