I think it was Frank that got shot and either Carl or one of his goons did it.

All this time Lance blamed himself for his wife and child's death but it was Frank I no where saw that coming. Frank needs to suffer and being shot was not it too quick but I guess where he is going he will have all eternity to suffer.

I love those shoes they are the bomb no wonder Eva was about to purchase them.  I think that Eva is going to see Ji sooner then she expects he does have her wallet and I am sure her ID as well he may just take it upon himself to bring the items to her home that is if she doesn't go back to the office, well she has to go back to the office for her car.

Ji Soon acts as though Eva is suppose to be able to read his mind.  He forgets that he is in the U.S.A not Korea the woman there think a bit differently and apparently so do the men.  Eva barely knows Ji yes and she has already had sex with him mind you against a wall of someone else's home and him being her second intimate encounter but it would be presumptuous of her to assume that he wants anymore from her then sex and get her feelings all caught up and that is all the wanted instead of the hinting game he should just come out and tell her what he wants sure he said he wanted her to give him a chance but a chance @ what?

And have missed the whole point in that bit of the chapter.

Damn that mofo raped her and got away with it.  She didn't even trust or like herself anymore to talk to her brother.  Knowing that he would have beat the hell out of David she should have know that he would have killed Kirk but she was young and naive.  Damn I hate that happened to her.

On top of him getting away with it for 4yrs he then opened a business with her step-brother.  I hope that that bastard gets his just deserve but he no doubt got married had kids and is living a comfortable life.
