Summary:

 

 

Are you born with your demons? there with you from inception, to birth, sentient beings living inside you? or are they created through experiences, molded and fed by time, dormant yet thriving in the dark catacombs of repressed memories until they becomes too prevalent to ignore? I want to know because my demons have become my neighbors. Like pilgrims they've landed in the New world of my being, settled there long before I knew their intentions. They've consummated with my fear to create children that now feel like relatives, their lineage carved so deeply into the fibers of my being that nothing can uproot them now.


Until he comes along with his sun hot radiance and completely eclipses the flickering candle that is me. He's lucifer before the fall beautiful but the devil is in the way he looks at me. In the way he brands me with his touch and possesses my soul with just a kiss.


Cole Larsen is my beginning and my end. Protector, friend and lover, he becomes my sole religion. At his side I become fearless, in worshiping him I find myself. But nothing is forever. Moments are ephemeral. No matter how much you want them to last, time eventually catches up to you.

Summary:

Lynne and Saul had been married for 25 years when he committed the ultimate betrayal. Lynne attempts forgiveness, but memories from her past make it hard to do that.  She loves Saul, but will she ever be able to trust him enough to take him back?  And when a new man enters her life, will she even WANT to?

 

This is a new version of the story I started earlier this month. In a comedy of errors I deleted the original version from my hard drive AND The Chamber.  I was depressed for a minute, but took it as an opportunity to re-work the story.  So here is the new, and hopefully improved, story.

Amazingly, some women (young and old) really do believe that 'as long as he comes home' or 'as long as he brings his check home' I can accept his cheating.  I have even heard 'well sometimes you have to just accept that a man is gonna be a man'--oh hell no you don't!  I hope Della don't take this type of nonsense to Lynne. 

The trust is gone and she will never get those images the other woman implanted into her mind, but they will fade.  

Read this in a book once:  man tells wife it was a accident when caught cheating. The writer suggested asking the husband if it was an accident that you both wound up naked, was it an accident that she fell in the bed with her legs open, was it an accident when your penis slid into her vagina--several times?  

Lynne did the right thing and he needed to go, so she can think.

Alicia is just too bold and she is the one crazy.  Well, can't say Lynne didn't warn her--poke the bear and next time she is going to get swatted hard.  

Lynne really should get tested for any STDs and HIV--I think this will make it easier for her to move on.

I wish this had been longer.

Title: Chapter 1: His Betrayal

Lynne made the right move and she needs to go slow with the new guy--it has been 6 months but she needs to make sure this one is a keeper, not a rebounder.  I hope he ios younger than Saul and a couple of yrs younger than Lynne (men tend to age faster).

Alicia is so damn desperate--she reminds me of those women always putting their paws on something that don't belong to them.  His kids will never forget what he did--they may forgive Paul when they see their mom is happy, but they will never accept or respect Alicia.  

Alicia don't realize it, yet, but she has really done Lynne a favor:  he was going to cheat on Lynne, sooner or later.

Lol!  I'm not sure what "hiding the frosting" means, but I can tell you that if I do a Cammie story, there will be more about Lynne and Malcolm.  If those characters tell me that they have more to say, I'll definitely write about it.  I like stories that leave me wanting more.  That leave me imagining what happens next.  But I know that's not everyone's cup of tea.

Title: Chapter 5: Where Do We Go From Here?

Where do we go from here?

Well, Saul needs a cheap furnished apartment.  I feel that he is still not getting the damage he has done.  

Lynne needs to go to a lawyer and a doctor, perferably the doctor first.  

Alicia needs a good beat down, but she won't test Lynne again.  I hope Cam, who seems to have a good head on her shoulders, tell Alicia she can't make someone love her.  

I don't know if Saul is worth it:  one night stand I could see counseling and a try, but what he did and in his office, too...Lynne should file for a separation and take her time on making a decision.  She owes Saul nothing.

I am loving this revision!

It would be a long week, bc I would be quiet and cool with his family--extra nice to his sister, but the rest would be walking a tight rope.

In other words, she shouldn't go out of her way to win over people that will probably always look down on her.  It's not like they hid how they felt about her.  Please let her Italian family show their azz!

What happen to the punch in the face--the police should have taken pics and she should have had a bruise or worst.

Pictures were taken of her bruises, I didn't describe everything that happened when the crime scene was processed because I didn't want to get bogged down in those details.

I agree that Shyla is very annoying--like a teen brat.  I can't see her standing up to Lauren or anyone else without crying, which gets old or bringing out the drama.  

I do love the way the kids are written and Matt is trying to act mature, but no where as mature as a businessman and his age should be. , but I am feeling Matt.

I had to lol at Tris and Scott and I think Scott wants Lauren and that is why he is concerned about her.  Scott also sees the attraction between the tweens.
