Summary:

Clark E. has always been the mysterious one out of all of his friends. With a new company on the rise and heartbreak in his past he has many doubts about women. Taking a chance and from the suggestion of his good friend he goes online and starts a romance with Katrina.

Katrina is the ugly duckling that has been named in her family. Living in the shadows of her older sister and cousin she becomes closed off from the outside world. Her only escape is the internet that gives her confidence. She makes a fake profile pretending to be someone else but then starts to develop feelings for Clark.

What happens when these two get to meet in the real world?

What the hell her sister and cousin have been putting this girl through, and who's the women on the picture. Stacey seems like one of those people who" Throw the rock, hide your hand" kind of people. Marco seems pretty cool and understanding. Clark Seems approachable and yummy. Kat needs to woman up! and know her self worth, stand up women! and be you.

Title: Chapter 4: Nights like this

Clark feels that connection with Katrina even though he can't understand the reason why. What type of family Katrina has, how can a sister treat her sister the way Katrina sister do. Plus she has a cousin that treats her like a random women on the street, hooking her up with a TWO-BIT PIMP! she dated, that's just NASTY. I think that Korin and Bree is jealous of Katrina because she is a LADY and they are some TWO-BIT HOOKERS on the street corner. I have a very close family and If anyone of my family members treat me like they treated her, first I will kick some ass and then I will forget that they ever existed. Katrina is made with some tough skin, for her mother to tell her that they must stick together because they are family. I would have said sorry mama but all that family talk went out the window when they tried to hurt me.

Gabriel needs to realize that he's not the only one who can see Adele's light. Max seems like one of those people who sees beauty in everything and in everyone. A true friend that don't judge but inspire you to do better. Max is a keeper in the friend department, Gabriel needs to own up to the mistakes he made, and rectify them.

Humphrey lives with a sense of entitlement, he needs to be brought down a peg or two or wipe out altogether. Gabriel needs to let go. I'm glad Adele turn down the job, why work someplace where you are uncomfortable. Plus dating someone your work with or for is a no no in my book, people might say she got her promotion laying on her back. They need time apart.

I love the relationship that Amanda, Kristen and Katya has form together the three amigos. Jamie is apple jelly on a hot biscuit kind of scrumptious. The kind of camaraderie they have with each other is honest. She's not trying to be someone she's not, and he's just being himself. What a perfect base for friendship first, and than relationship second. I truly enjoy this story.
