Summary:

Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 6

I really hope Addy can have a life outside of Dominic, which I think is already underway. I just don't want her to pine away for him when he is still in pain over Dina (though he shouldn't have assumed they would get back together...). Maybe she could even go on a date with someone? Or at least have a friendship with another man? It could help her heal from her near rape attempt maybe idk. I just need Dominic to really thirst over her eventually because it's vastly overdue. A little healthy cliche jealous never hurt especially with how open they are with another due to their previous close friendship. 

I was excited to see this updated so quickly! Can't wait for more

Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 8

So I've been thinking it over (& reading other reviews because I'm loving others take on this) & I have to say that Addy should continue growing as a person because her infatuation with Dom is played out. Also, romantically speaking, Dom owes Addy nothing. They may seem like they'd be a great couple, & Addy is very sweet, kind, intelligent, & other positive adjectives, but sometimes if you don't feel it you don't feel it. You can't guilt someone into being in love with you. You can be the bestest person in the world and they can still not want you in that way. It sucks but you gotta suck it up, know or in Addy's case find her self-worth, and move on. I want her to continue to build her friendships and maybe build a good friendship with Murphy that starts with being honest about her feelings about Dominic. I don't want to see anymore broken hearts.

Still though, Dominic may be a good friend in private but with how he treats her publicly? That, to me, shows his true character. And that's making him seem nothing like the sweet man we knew and loved from Sasha & Dmiriti's story. He obviously hasn't ever cared about her friendship if he didn't even try to keep contact with her after high school honestly. To me, he felt sorry for her and nothing could be worse for Addy or Dominic than a friendship built on pity and infatuation. His actions show him to be shallow and fickle. And that's the most disappointing thing when he seemed to be the complete opposite before.

Title: Chapter 9: Chapter 8

She should leave Dominic in the dust and fast. As someone with a speech impediment I can tell you that people that are ashamed to be your friend in public are not your friends. I don't know if Adaline can forgive Dominic or not but it'll be hard, for me at least, to forgive Dominic for this. I'm interested to see how this all plays out though that totally rubbed me the wrong way. Dominic should know Adaline better than anyone & he still does shit like this. It tells me that he's not what Adaline needs & he's not mature enough to handle a relationship with her, romantic or not.

Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 9

This was great. This was a very needed chapter. This felt refreshing. Everything is now out in the open and they've both come to a resolution. 

I'm glad Dominic said no and I accept his apology and explanation. He's not ready for Addy and he knows this is it. I'm glad Addy can now begin to move on from her infatuation with Dominic. Both were long overdue.

And maybe they'll never be friends like they once were, but now (in the FUTURE) I can finally see them building a better, new and improved relationship with one another. Maybe then I could see them in a romantic relationship (MAYBE....like possibly. Not quite sure yet).
