Mostly romance novels. The authors on this board opened my eyes to other storys beside the sappy ones I love and still will always read. However these lady's here write character with flaws and characters that love one antother dispite them. Lady's please continue to do your thing cause your doing it well.

Glad Dewey got punched in the face, now Charles uncle needs to be punched in the face for not only doing what he did to Charles but the nerve to be drilling someone. The way Billy fights for his and Paris love for each other is good, thinking he is going to need it in the years to come! Interesting to see how Granmother Perry feels when she meets Paris I am thinking and it could be wishful thinking she may not like them being together but she will give the ring to Billy. My son is almost 20 and he has the same believes. As for Paris if her body is on fire she just better marry her man so she can get some :) What Janie told Charles is true they both need to get help and he needs to face his demons. His uncle needs to knocked of his high hores. I hope Charles tells his dad. This was a very emotional chapter loved it.
I am glad to hear about your son. More men need to realize tht sex does not equal manhood. My son is 23 and while he's admitted to have made mistakes in college, he tells me now that he wants to wait for the right girl. I am a happy mom.

A lot of my friends who arent black think that things were better right away when actualy it hasnt really been that long and there are some dark roads in the south no person of color should drive!
