Eshan's mammy is a bitch! Joss wasn't thinking when she gave that heffa ammunition on a silver platter! Who knew she would so blatantly disrespect her family. Sure she's used underhanded tactics though not as vindictively as this.  By doing so, she has most assuredly shamed her husband.  What penalty would Yaghoub bring against his spouse- if any. Seeing her true colors makes me wonder how 'pure' and 'just' Mrs Kourosh really is.

Pearl should've at least slapped that wench- damn the purse! She deserved it.  I'm ready for Eshan to say I do / I will / or whatever is customary and take his bride away from such treachery and deceitfulness that is his mother!

He cocked the handgun, and I jolted. Letting go of the handle, I suddenly felt faint.

            “Who’s that guy back there to you?” he asked, lifting his shirt to slip the gun into his waistband.

            My mind whirled by the situation, the potential danger of this man with his gun, and then he inched his shirt up, my head spinning more at his cut abs. The tight skin stretched over them…

            My mouth dried, and I blinked when he lowered his shirt. Cocking his head, he found my eyes, that grin from the diner on his face.

I like Alex and Brody.  They have a certain chemisty about them without even trying, no arrogance or egoes, no pretentious overtures or innuendo...just- a sort of innocence...a chill vibe between to the two, ya know?  It's very refreshing imo; they are a duo that invokes a warm/fuzzy feeling and makes you want to read about them...can't tell you who many times I've read this chapter! It's pathetic I know but true nonetheless.

I knew early-on that Alex wasn't what she initally appeared to be.  Can't wait to know more about her. She seems nice but troubled. Brody. Ahh, Brody!  Love him already.  Dude is mmm-mmm-good in every way that counts.  Love his name btw; it's very fitting. I hope he doesn't have some clingy-ass, annoying ex-girlfriend or an FB. urgh, they're so annoying! lol

Can't wait to see more of Alex and Brody and their conversations as they travel to Texas. Great job!

I cannot tell you how many times I've read this chapter! It seems infinite but only about five or six really though I'm sure by next update it might increase to a-hundred. Lol I'm overjoyed that the odds weren't against Brody nor Alexa. Loved the way everything played out even with the call from her nephew!

Brody is cooler-than-a-fan; I've been team-Brody since the beginning.  Speaking of team, I must admit that I did NOT make the Chandler connect at all, never realizing that my Brody (haha) was Griffin's brother!  Loved his character in the other story too. He has a great sense of humor, nothing fussy- just a real cool dude...and a gentleman! LUV that!

I have no clue as to what's going to happen next however, it's very important that when Alex is herself again, she must call her nephew immediately!

Mmmm.  I don't know about this 'dream team' agent/publicist duo. I hope for Griffin's, and Roxie's sake, they're on the up-and-up.  Their company apparently is reputable but sometimes things get out of control with the best intentions. Both Roxie and Griffin are smart and have dealt with situations before, however, this is a whole other world for the newly-engaged couple and I just hope they have great guidance from people/relatives that they trust.

I think she has lost weight in a healthy way -you know...eating right and exercising but now it's like she doesn't know how to feel about the 'transformed' Roxie. Plus it happened so quickly and with little support from Griffin - not to mention planning the wedding, the paparazzi, the constant bombardment of Rose/Griff ads, her emotional conflict with her father and the cherry-on-top...the prenup! All these challenges has added more stress to an already frayed mindset; it's not surprising that she's reverted into a recluse again.

Roxie has been a thick or plus-sized girl all her life- teased by kids and tormented by her stepmother about her girth so I'd imagine that she is insecure when most would become more confident.  Roxie rarely (if ever) accompanies her fiancé to public engagements. [Why is that Griff?] She needs positive acknowledgmentf from her man. Men don't think; they think their women are 'fine' even though they're far from it. However, Griffin is the exception to the rule for the most part when it comes to his lady; he just needs to to step back and really assess what's been happening with the love of his life.

Thank you for another update so quickly! Frankly I was pleasantly surprised as I'd thought you'd post again next week! Yay! 

For me, there seemed to be a disconnect in the opening scene from the previous chapter. Wasn't the bathroom door locked? Weren't they in their new house and he'd slept on the floor? How did he get back to the mainland? So Roxie came back to the condo and slipped the note in his pocket?

other than those little tidbits, the chapter had me holding my breath! I'd forgotten about her mom's issues & what happened to her. There's no telling where Roxie is and Heaven-forbid what she's thinking or doring!Nope...not gonna think the worst. 

Ooooo this is SO good! I knew Evangeline had to be Kattia's mother but pray-tell, what atrocities has the Grand Duchess bestowed upon her own spawn? Who is Azrael to both women?  I luv Kattia's strong-willed and defiant character, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

It is always a pleasure to read your work, regardless the format or genre...the quality and intelligence never wavers.  Excellent!

Oh gosh!  I hope he didn't sex Shauna.  Doesn't sound like they've been intimate at all and I hope that's true.  (How presumptuous of Shauna to acquire his key and enter his home.  Carter needs to set that heffa straight; right now he doesn't appear to be a pushover by allowing daddys witch to rule him...this too I hope is true). Carter was a bit rough with Tamryn but he had to 'sell' their cover.  However this is what I'm trippin' off of...Shauna is a complete bitch and I'd Tamryn is truly the apple of their father's eye...the I'm quite sure he wouldn't allow Shauna to assault Tamryn either.  Tam needs to stand up to the biotch!

tamryn took a big risk by going to Carter like that...she should've chosen another rendezvous site than Carter's home.  

Kudos for not going the girlfriend/wifey route with the female choice of 'who's at the door'.  Didn't expect this twist.

Sooner rather than later, Larry must realize Shauna is making a mess of his organization and bringing unwanted attention to their nefarious practices.  Had Shauna been his son, he would've exerted his hierarchy and reprimanded her ass by now. Man I can't wait to see what happens next!!

This is my fav chapter and I'll tell you why in a sec- but first thing's fisrt...Macy must go! This conniving witch is the type of woman who could bring a good man down - a Brian is the perfect guy for Miss Jane Doe.  Second- Brian's lawyer bullshit-radar must be broken when it comes to that gold-digger...he should've demanded proof after the third wild goose chase ended in another lame excuse - I mean c'mon Brian, really!?!

Lastly, I loved the opening scene.  The continuity of Brian's POV from the previous chapter transitioned beautifcally into her moments of conscienceness.  Then we followed her eyes around the room as she became aware of her surroundings and processed unfamiliar, mechanical sounds, voices and the people who was speaking - especially the fine specimen of maleness beside her - and finally, the realization that she'd been seriously injured sans the memory of how or why or who she is.  The only hiccups were one, the shook-vs-nod syndrome that some authors tend to do.  Shaking of the head is the negative, nodding is the affirmative so when she 'shook her head' that she was fine, is a contradiction; it always arrest the flow for me. And two, italiaczing her thoughts could be an alternative rather than using quotation marks if she is not speaking aloud - but other than that, I truly enjoyed those scenes particularly. I've read it three times already!
