Title: Chapter 38: Chapter 38 - The Bridges We Burn
Really Richard? he's got a lot of damn nerve. All he wants is an apology from Anthony like he's the injured party. I know that Nat doesn't like the family to fight but I'm about tired of her trying to be the diplomat. Richard deserves that ass whoopin he has coming and she has no business standing in the way of it. All she needs to do right now is love and support Anthony and take care of dem babies she's carrying. They say in church don't block the blessing well Nat a lot of people would be blessed if Richard got jacked up. I now I certainly would. As for Mercede what the heck does she think she'll accomplish by trying to talk to Anthony? Does she think she can still manipulate him? That boat has saled. And what's up with the Talerico's trying to get in contact with Ant? Please let Ant find out what they did to Nat because they're all still owed a cuss out. Why hasn't anyone gotten their comeuppance yet? Mercede and Richard seem unscathed. In fact those two are trying to figure out how they can turn this around to make themselves look like the victims. These people frustrate me so much. Can we have a little karmic justice in the next chapter? Pretty please? Ant needs to know that Richard assualted Nat and the Talericos reveled in it. Richard needs to be finished Mortal Kombat style. FINISH HIM!! Mecede deserves a permanent yeast infection. I hope she dies alone with cats and when she dies the cats eat her face.
I hope Ant can find out what happened to David and maybe he has some family he can connect with. It would be great for the twins or triplets to meet their palestinian family. I hope Ant can forgive Rich soon, he's suffering too.
Again another great chapter. You like playing with my emotions don't you JJ? Yay! I started a movement!! We wants twins! We want twins! We want tiwins! LOL
Author's Response: Natalia has chosen to keep quiet about Richard manhandling her, not strictly for the sake of keeping the peace, but to avoid seeing Anthony go to prison for Richard's murder. As I warned, Richard, Mercede, and the terrible Talerico are not going to be maimed or wake up bald and penniless in the gutter with fleas and some incurable disease. Granted, that would be very satisfying, but not realistic or necessary.
Mercede has, for all intents and purposes, lost her son. And Richard has lost the woman he loves to the son he mistreated, and they're both happy and completely committed to one another with a significant number of supporters in Richard's very own family--the same family he ruined his relationship with her for. For a mother and man as in love with Nat and himself as Richard is, there is no worse fate.
Rich and Ant will find a way to work it out. At the end of the day, Richard is Rich's father, and even if Ant can't respect the man, he can respect the relationship.
After all your campaigning and chanting, I might have twins.
