What a turn of events but I am not surprised that Kaoru would have sex with Kamir.  She seemed to be awfully attracted to him but also she seems to want what Sarau has.  I also wonder about Kamir.  What is his deal?  Is he there to cause harm to Sara in some way?  Just some of things that he said about gettins Sara to trust him just made me wonder what his motives really are. Thanks for a great update.  Happy New Year!!!

It does seem that she wants what Sara has and maybe that transended into the same man? Who knows, that would be pretty deep if true. I don't think he wants to harm Sara, but perhaps Kaoru was right from the begining, he just isn't that serious.

Thanks for a great update.  For some reason I thought that Yuki could speak more English.  I forgot that Sara is very fluent in Japanese.

SHoulda is to funny guilt triping his grandparents in  staying with his other grandparents.

I like Darren Percy.  They seem to be real down to earth folks.

Thanks for a good update.  The shopping spree was fun.  I was LOL at the parents and their reactions to the gift for Shouda.  No matter how much the husbands try to outfox their wives they will ultimately fauil.  I am really surprised that Yuki's dad is so invested in his son being with Saraua.  Looking forward to reading what happen nexts.  Thanks

You are very welcome. I liked the shopping scene too. You kind of get a glimps of the past and what could have been all along...at least that was what I was going for. As to Kenji, I think he knows whats right and what Yuki wants and that is Sara. He knows that part he played in the past and doesn't want to make the same mistake. Though he isn't very vocal about it.

Kamir is an idiot but a loveable one for Karou.  She seems determined have him for the fun of it all.

Sara and Yuki are circling each other.  What does Yuki expect Sara to do when he is a married man. 

I love the grandparents.  Yuke's father is a mess.  But Darren/Percy was onto his scheme.

Thanks for a great update.  Not sure why Karou went to see Sara.  I like the way that Sara dealt with the grieving woman.  I also enjoyed Sara's parents.

I am glad that Sara ran from Yuki.  He had a lot of nerve to kiss her.  I love Shouda and how direct he is with his father wanting to know why he left his mother.  Yeah for a new possible love interest for Sara...I think Kamir might be what the doctor for her lonely heart.  Thanks for a great update.

Great update,  I am not surprised that the grandmother took Shoulda from school and demanded that he try on the uniform, etc.  I was surprised that the grandfather took Shoulda's side though.  To bad Sara couldn't slap the shit out of that old lady.  If anyone deserves a good ass kicking grandmother does.  I like Sara's brother Ward.  So does this mean that Tuki and Karou will be husband and wife?  Will Sara form a relationship with Kamir?  I was LOL when Ward asked Sara "Will you ever attract anything besides foreign bodies?  And who is Darren Percy? Thanks for a great update.  Can't wait to read what happens next.

You were surprised at the grandfather. He presents sort of a wild card I think. Oh, violence never solves anything...but it sure does help one feel better! :) All roads lead to Yuki and Kaoru giving it a try. We'll have to see what happens between Sara and Kamir. Darren Percy will be explain more in the future, but I'll give you this, its the combined name of her mother and father.

Thanks for the great update.  Is Sara sad that Yuki and his wife are trying to make their marriage work when she is still in love with him?  I like his wife Karoi.  Yuki's mother is a trip.  I can't wait for both grandparents to meet because I am sure that Percy has something for Ms pushy.

Thanks for the pictures of Japan.  I was there with my daughter in June 2009.  We were there for a week. What a beautiful country.  I was very saddened by the earthquake and the Tsunami. We stayed in Tokyo at the New Otani Hotel. Here is the link:  http://www.newotani.co.jp/en/tokyo/ This was a beautiful hotel with a waterfall and Koi fish.  It also had a shrine.  We went on a lot of tours to various destinations in Japan like Nikko (I loved Nikko).  We also went to Disney Tokyo.  The most amazing thing about visiting Japan was how nice people were to us.  I loved their public transit system.  One day while sitting on a tour bus I saw this mass exit from the train, hundreds of people just appeared out of nowhere it seemed.  I have lots if pictures of my trip to Japan too.  I made a video of my trip at CVS on a CD. I believe that Sara is not sad that Yuki is trying to make things work with Kaoru, but that he didn't do the same with her. She really loved him, as I hope the flashbacks can attest. She is bitter about his lack of courage where she was concerned. Does she still love him? Well, I don't think she even knows the answer to that question.

As to your personal note. Thank you very much! It was wonderful. Thank you for the links, that hotel looks fabulous and the book looks interesting. I might have to look into getting it if I can. If you feel comfortable, I would love to see some of your pictures. I'm thinking of doing another video so if you have some where you and your daughter do not appear, please send them. I can incorporate them. Or if they are on flicker or something, I would love to see them. I'm always happy to meet people who have been as it is a very special place for me.

Also, I am so glad that you are enjoying the story!

Kaoru is something else.  She turned out to have some backbone after all.  Good for her wanting to divorce Yuki.  I was surprised that she told him for the reason why she stayed out overnight.  Yuki took it better than I thought he would.  The mornung scene between Shouda, Yuki and Sara was so family oriented.  I felt bad for Sara that her paper company is trying to rip her off because she got a big account. As for Kamir, he is such a loser.  Thanks for a great update.

Kaoru is on her way! Where I'm not sure but she is on her way. I thought about making it messy but then I asked myself why would it be. These are to estranged people who are just now come to be friends. What difference would it make except culturally. So, Kaoru said it and Yuki accepted it.

Thanks for a great update,  It is good to see  Izumi relaxed and let down her hair.  Having the other grand parents there has done a workld of good for  Izumi.  As for Percy & Darren, I just love them.  I love how supportive they are to each other.  I thought that it was interesting that Shouda knew that something was goig on between his two grand parents.  From the mouth s of babes...his words unlocked the mean spirit of  Izumi who could apologize to her son.  I ca understand why Yuki was surprised by his mothers actions. Thanks again.
