With a troubled childhood and a dark past looming over her shoulder, James is untrusting of others therefore lets very few people into her life.
That is until she stumbles -- literally -- into Tristen, a computer software engineer who won't take 'no' for an answer. He's different, kind, and fun. And French. He wants to get to know her, but will her past drive him away like the others and if he does stay, can he endure damage of her skeletons tumbling out of the closet?

That damn Pearl and Charles those to mofos I can't wait til they have their ass handed to him. Pearl is a devils spawn that is why she does not like the church and how can you do that to you 14yr old child like Mel said she is not one to be called a mother.

Pearl is no mother and she isn't very human either. She could possibly be the devil's spawn, LOL. This was definitely an emotional chapter to write because it involved so much James' pain and past, but I thought it was important for everyone to see why James is the way she is. She's got wounded badly and though she has healed, she still has nasty scars that remain her of the life she used to have. Thank you so much! :)

I love this couple and definitely want them to have their hea.
Adele I'm not quit sure as to what I think about her as of yet. I can say she is a lot better then James' egg donor. I guess with Tristen being her only son she is very protective of him and wants the best for him that's with any mother with her child she just hasn't realized that James is what's best for him they're what best for each other.

Tristen and James are definitely on their way to having a HEA, they just have to jump a few more hurdles. As for Adele, that is basically what she is doing. Tristen is her only son, so she is very protective of him, but she is letting this protectiveness blind her from seeing that Tristen truly loves and adores James. She might get burned really bad for her attitude before she finally realizes this. Thank you so much! :)
I have been hoping for an update and thought okay Missus is busy with other things in life,
So I waited and waited and waited some more never getting that email that you had updated. So something made me come and check again and I don't know how in the devil I missed 2 chapters but here I am and my girl James has decided to bounce with her man as she should. I so want them to leave now not wait...I keep thinking that even though some weight has been lifted from James' shoulders there is something lurking in the background waiting to pounce and do her and her man and child harm.
I still want to know who daddy is and why Pearl had a connection with the niece.

That's odd. I apologize that you didn't get emails saying that I updated! But yes, James has finally decided to leave the building with Tristen and now it's new life with their new family in Paris. They've still got some hurdles to jump over, but it's way better than being sitting ducks in America and waiting for Trigger and Pearl to do something stupid. As for who her father is and why Pearl has a connection with the niece, that will definitely be explained in the sequel. I can't fit a complex plot like that in this story, LOL. Thank you so much. :)

You are right though, they still have a long, bumpy ride to go and their relationship will definitely be tested throughout the journey, but hopefully they will get the HEA that they truly deserve. :) Thank you!
I loved this chapter everyone was enjoying themself then Trigger had to show his trifling ass up.
If I am not mistaken and this is just a guess I wonder if Charles was the one that that bitch that is suppose to be a mother allowed him to take James' virginity @ 14 or was it other times that she sold her own daughter to get what she wanted. Ooooh weee I can't wait til they get their upcomance.

LOL! It was getting to be a good party until Trigger showed up, but Tristen definitely put his ass on fire for laying a hand on James. James will eventually realize what she needs to do because it will come to her in the form of an epiphany and she'll have to face her demons eventually. I am glad you decided to go this route though James has gone through a lot in her 22yrs she is strong and a survivor.
I don't think Tristen will leave her hanging hell he raised his sister's child I don't think he would turn his back on his own.
I hope that he can talk James into moving to Paris it will give her a fresh and new start and she can still get her education over there and get her degree in what she wants shoot since she takes online course can't she still attend the same school while in Paris?
The other thing is Tristens family and will the dumbass crew follow and continue to torture her in Paris but they would be on Tristen's truff then so they wouldn't stand a chance in hell would they.

Tristen definitely wouldn't turn his back on his own child. He's been a family man since he was in his teens, he knows what it takes to form a family and keep it together and he is the perfect person to teach James what's it like to be apart of a family and now since they are having a baby, this is her chance to learn. James is a strong character and Tristen brings out the good qualities in her which makes her even more stronger. :) Thank you!

OMG!!! This story was the shiznic....You have another coming after this one right. That ending had me on the edge of my seat and Julie's promise that Tyler would get the death penalty and a speedy one. I wonder if they took him back to the same prison he was in before since he knows the escape routes or was that all Mack.
Tyler is one sick cookie and he survived all those stabs and still lived though in critical condition.

I was sold whe he said he did not need a pen or paper just whisper it into his ear and it would be forever written upon his heart now if that aint ole school I don't know what is. I bet ole jackass Blaine don't have moves like that.
Bree I too hope he follows his heart in the future when that dreaded day comes. You two deserve each other and I hope he can see that the lies told were for a worthy cause and that she did try to stay away from you but you were very persistant.

I feel sorry for Vicky but greed will get you everytime. I know she grew up without money but so did Ava and she is substanting with the cosmetics and her ranch.
I believe it too when Ava was meant for great things but following up behind Blaine ass corrupted him and turn him into this thing we love to hate where I still don't feel sorry for him at all cause a great percent of the the things he has done he chose no one put a gun to his head...
