WOW, old Professor better make sure he can keep it together.  I don't want him to really cross the line here.  But I can see some type of connection between him and Collista.  She decided to take the job.  WOW good for her.

WOW first of all I am so hooked on this story.  And I am very happy and proud of Jake for stepping up and calling Li.  I thought he may have taken some time, but he is still so drawn to her and now his daughter.  What in the world is going to happen next?  I just hope that he gets to spend some real quality time with Faith.  She deserves to know her father and he deserves the same chance with getting to know her.

well I for one am just so happy that you are back.  I have loved their story from the original and this new one.  I don't know how Jake thinks he can keep Faith a secret for long.  I mean his girlfriend maynot seem now as the clingy type but if he continues to change and spend more time either on the phone or with 'Miss Irene' she will become suspicious.  I know that I would and that is normal.  It was funny that Li was thinking that at 4 Faith would leave home and become an addict just becuase she found out about Jake.  But as usual Miss Irene was the voice of reason.  And the sermon scene was just too funny.  That kindof reminded me of their first service they shared. 

 And little ms. Faith is not a dumb child.  She is going to figure something out.  Maybe not the truth, but she has to feel something.  I can't believe that her mother has just always been quiet after church.  But I think Jake did a good thing with the toy.  It was not too much but it helped to break the ice between the two of them.  And to have your daughter reach out and introduce herself to you had to be a very emotional moment.  I can see why he had an anxiety attack.

Li and Jake have got to get it together.  there is something between them.  They can't deny it.  But Li thinks he is committed to his girlfriend.  And who knows.  Maybe he is, but there is a part of him that wants only Li.  If they are not honest with each other, they are never going to get anywhere.

Well at least she didn't go from the penthouse screaming.  And GO TODD for taking the initiative to tell the truth before Nora or momma Williamson got to her.  I am glad that she seemed to be messing well with Starr.  Blair just never learns.  she is going to really step over the line this time.  Great chapter.

Author's Response: Yeah Vange had to take a deep breath on that one. You tell a guy you're in love with him and this confession hits you in the face. She also understood that Todd has a dark side maybe she didnt know how dark it was but it is in his past. He couldnt pull that in the present or 'she'll run from the penthouse screaming' as you say. She adores Starr. Blair always wants to keep her hands in Todd's business because she has been doing it for so long.  Thanks for submitting a review!

Love the way he proposed to her.  And for him to do it in his 'special' place.  I am just so happy that they are on their way.  And whomever called Todd needs a medal.  Blair has finally lost it.  I can not believe that she finally crossed that line.  Thank goodness that Vange was there and that Blair didn't know it.  I think she would have gone after Vange instead of Todd given the chance.

She was literally travelling down that path with her obsession. I think when she saw Todd was with Evangeline it made her go over the edge and thats the way I wrote it. You cannot be that obsessed with a person and not snap one time. That Blair wouldnt have gone after Evangeline without any questions.

As for the proposal well I've always believed Todd has a way with words. Thanks for posting your review!

I am so happy to see this.  I can't imagine what is going through Evangeline's mind now that she is in the car with Todd and Angela.I don't know how he is going to do this but you have to give it to Todd.  He took the bull by the horns now that he found her.

I am just at a loss for words.  I don't know if I should huge Evangaline or just throw her out on her ear.  I am just glad that Angela has Todd in her corner.  Can't wait to see what you have next.

can I just say how estatic I was to see this chapter.  I am glad that he is moving forward, but i think he needs to tell her the truth and soon.  He was alwasy looking out for her and even after their night together, he still is with the sun.  awesome story
