February is the month for romance! We’re challenging our authors to come up with the sweetest and/or sexiest first kiss they can.  Fan fiction or an original creation, it’s all up to you.  The only requirement is that always momentous first kiss as your inspiration.

We’re all about the love this month at The Chamber! Are you up for the Challenge?

There are tons of characters on the site in desperate need of their own fanfic. For this challenge, you need only to pick a Chamber lady whose yet to have her story told. One shot or multi-chapter, cannon, off cannon, even AU, it's all up to you. The only rule is she can't already have a fic under her name.

Ever notice how often a story ends with those three little words? Well this month, we’re challenging our writers to show us what comes after two people say I love you. Original story or fan fiction, it’s all up to you. Just make sure the story starts with "I love you."

is gone and has been for a while and i miss fine ass Jason lol, so my challenge

to you is to write a multi chapter fic about Jason Morgan coming back and him

with a new love intrest that isnt sam! I want drama for your Mama in this story!

This month we're challenging our authors to write a fic or drabble featuring their favorite character. Whether it's a Chamber Lady currently featured on the site or revisiting one of your original creations, it's up to you. Just make sure your number one is the focus of your tale.

This month is all about playing favorites. Are you up for the challenge?

If you can hear Paula Abdul's 90s hit playing in your head then you understand exactly what this challenge is about. Your mission - should you choose to accept it- is to chronicle, showcase, highlight the love affair or hate to love evolution of one couple. It can be fanfiction, existing original characters, or a new pair sparked by the concept of this challenge. Dark and dramatic pieces are welcome. Fluff and cuteness beyond belief is also accepted.

We’re challenging both our readers and our writers this month! Readers, head into the Chamber Forum and post the story idea you’d like to see on the archive.  Writers, your job is to take a suggestion and come up with an original story or fan fiction. 

There’s only two limitations to this challenge.  Readers, no original character requests and writers, only one author may claim a story idea.  Other than that the sky’s the limit!  Who’s up for the challenge?

This month, we’re challenging our authors to explore the good and bad side of the story. The challenge is to use one of seven deadly sins and the seven heavenly virtues for the theme of your story. Pit charity against greed, contrast wrath with justice in a fan fiction or original story, mix and match as much as you like. Just make sure the tale is based on the two prompts from our lists. It’s the season of giving and The Chamber would like to celebrate this year by giving authors and members what they really want for Christmas!

This month we’re asking our authors to write a story as a gift to someone else, be it a loyal reader or a fellow writer. It can be fan fiction or original, but the story must be written in the spirit of the season. Readers, if you have a special Christmas request, feel free to make your fic wish known by logging in and commenting here.

Santa’s arriving early this year at the Chamber. Are you up for the challenge?

We’re trimming the fat this month or in this case getting rid of a few pesky words. The challenge is to write your best one shot story that contains no more than 1,000 words. There’s no minimum requirement and the story can be fan fiction or original. Just make sure you stay below the word count limit.

We’re pushing ourselves to the creative limit at The Chamber. Are you up for the challenge?

This month, The Chamber wants our members to take a break from routine. We’re asking authors to post a story that incorporates something you’ve never done before. It’s time to write that genre you’ve wanted to try, that new show you’ve never tackled, or a heroine that’s unlike any you’ve created before. Or maybe your something new is posting that first story and finally becoming a Chamber author.
