I am not surprised Kendra was the one to ask the question. In a way, she's usually the one to bring up uncomfortable or more intimate subjects with him.
Kendra is better than me because there's no way I could keep letting AJ have "a word" with my boyfriend. AJ is exactly the guy he doesn't want for his sister and he needs to sit down somewhere

Ya know, AJ is really getting on my last nerve. He has said his peace and made his feelings known on the matter already. Why does he feel he needs to keep sticking his nose in this? He's not her parent and has zero authority here. What's all these threats about anyway? Their mother is doing fine with it. No one is asking him. Again, he should focus on his own daughters to raise. Would he feel better if it was a black dude taking advantage of her instead?
I think her asking that question was going to come up at some point. Jason was cool about it.
I wonder though if it was something similar from Jason, would Kendra feel some type of way that he asked or be cool about it as well.

Nice chapter, love the interaction with Jason and Kendra's family especially Grandma Rose... as for AJ, I know that he's being over protective of Kendra, buit I wonder if Jason was a "Brother" wouild he have been as intense.
Oh and I can't wait for Jason's uncle to meet Kendra, and I hope is Big Mouth cousin behaves.
