I can see now Hunter Is going to get on my last nerve. Life Is totally different when you are handed everything, then when you have to earned everything you work hard for. The person that earned everything cherish It more and hold on to It longer. Hunter Is a privilege white boy who thinks he's entitled to everything. Anika Is a humble black women that's thankful for everything she has. I have people on my job that thinks I got my position from "Affirmative Action" really! I worked my ass off In college and on my job, to get where I am today, and no redneck uneducated bigot Is going to stop my flow. Mr. Sterling will find out that It's hard trying to survive on a deserted Island without the help of Anika, a person that knows the struggle of surviving with little. Hunter I feel will be brought down a peg or two, on a deserted Island he has no maid, no cook and no late night booty calls. He Is about to find out what a STRONG EDUCATED BLACK WOMEN looks like GO ANIKA!!!. Great new story.

Thank you jacqua43 yes Hunter is about to have a whole new outlook on life and ironically it's going to come from the
woman he finds very annoying and irritating. I know what you're saying it's like you always have to prove yourself twice
to people that you have the skills but they can't get past your skin color. Anika is used to hard work the palm of her
hands are both literally and figuratively rough while Hunter's are still baby soft.

Omg... when I saw you posted another story I was like YASSSS!!!! 😃I feel Anika's struggle. Going thru the same thing at work myself. I work with about 3 Hunters... so I'm very interested to see how she deals with one while being stranded with him (for what I'm guessing and hoping will be 200 days). Man you write some good stuff. Really looking forward to this one.

You and VirgoFemme have inspired me to publish some stories I've written. Only thing is... how do you get past the fear that someone will plagiarize your hard work and take credit for something you created? That's the number one thing holding me back from posting. I know someone already has stolen VirgoFemme's story... so I was just wondering if it's ever happened to you.

Thanks I feel like Anika is going to change Hunter in a good way and see that some people have to actually work for what they want and need to survive. The 200 days is equivalent to 6 and a half months so it will be a long time. As far the fear of having my work plagiarized I actually haven't thought about it until you mentioned it. In VirgoFemmes case that sucks and hopefully she was able to call them out on it. It hasn't happened to me and hopefully it won't.

I really like the premise of your story. I have a feeling Anika is going to surprise the hell out of Hunter in many ways. He's already got a sneak peek with that little prayer he said for her grandma and brothers. I am excited to see how the story unfolds.

Hunter certainly has a lot of maturation to do and should be thankful that there's somebody on the island with him and he's not alone. Hearing Anika's prayer is going to help him realize that there are bigger things at stake here.

Hunter is an asshile! Why was their only one pilot, their is never only one pilot? Unless it's a small plane and privately owned. Anika will teach Hunter a well deserved lesson and a needed one as well. Where are Anika's parents? Are they dead and is so how old were her brothers when they died? Thank for sharing another wonderful story!! Looking forward to seeing both Anika and Hunter grow as people. Especially Hunter, I want him to loose the arrogance and racial abd economic bias that he he grew up with.

The plane was small and privately owned and only had about thirteen people aboard. Anika is about the same age as Hunter about 24 to 26 so her parents passed away in her early teens and her little brothers were just barely in kindergarten and went under the care of their paternal grandmother when she was still able to get about and wasn't sick. Of course I'll explain that more a bit later along with Hunter's family life. Glad you like it I kind of wanted to do my own version of The Blue Lagoon but hopefully it won't be too cheesy. They'll be there for a while since 200 days is equivalent to about 6 and a half months hopefully in that time Hunter will mature a little.
