am SO loving this story! I am Team DeLeon; the man is sexy as hell, smart, a loner (which lends to the mysterious) and he really cracks me up! Even when he’s being ornery he’s charming. Anyone with ‘eyes’ can tell he’s hurting…maybe from guilt or depression or suppressed rage, whatever his demons are, he’s vulnerable –but his vulnerability is because of Kendra. Speaking of Kendra, man…! can she hold her own with DeLeon?! She gives as good as she gets.Dax is the sweetest thing. I love him with Kendra but he’s still a kid in many ways…Kendra needs a man, a strong man to excite her, challenge her, love her.Cat needs to sit her funky ass down somewhere, her and her mammy! Damn, don’t you have a husband, hoe? She can forget about DeLeon because the man’s heart is already taken…hell, she never had him in the first place. And DeLeon might as well give up the fight and leave those skanks alone, he’s got a real woman to heal what’s broken.
On the technical side, you are doing a fabulous job with the backwoods/country vernacular. Usually I don’t read literature written in this speech, however, it only enhances the tone, the imagery and the characters’ persona. I love it.

DeLeon is willing to give Dax a chance with Kendra. That's a brother's love, 'cause Kendra has DeLeon all kinds of twisted. I feel bad for him. There is so much anger and pain in him. I love that Kendra doesn't take any crap from him. She's even got him not being able to "perform". He's whipped. Dax is still that little puppy. I don't think he can handle Kendra. What will happen when she gets her memory back? How can she realistically end up with either DeLeon or Dax. Although I would love for her and DeLeon to get a little something going. I think she would be able to soothe his spirit amongst other things. ;)
This story is one of my favs. It is so well written. It makes me laugh, sad and angry [with those evil ass women plotting against Kendra]. I'm really enjoying this a lot.

i am loving this story. I hope she ends up with DeLeon though, he needs her. For Dax i think shes more of an infatuation and dont think he is ready yet for someone as strong as her. Deleon on the other hand is ripe for the picking.
