Awesome. What a greeting to come home to, the soon to be ex, the woman he loves who is pregnant and Aunt Mae. Loved it.

Yes!!!  That was freaking awesome!!!  I am so glad that he told that ho Amber that he was in love with Amber!!  I love Aunt Mae, she cracks she reminds of my Aunt Marge!!!  I can't wait to read about Amber's reaction Simon giving her the facts.  Amber will whintastic!!!!  I love it!!!

ABOUT TIME!!!

Oh no, no, no. No you don’t IT! Don’t you dare end this story so quickly!  It is a beautifully written piece that has endeared me to its characters.  The dialogue is smart and to-the-point, the plot twists make sense – they’re not out of left field and imo (of course), Moliere, Simon, Aunt Mae, Cooper and even Amber-Who aren’t just characters in a book [which it should be], they’re real people with real lives dealing with realistic day-to-day situations. To just ‘wrap it up’ would be a crime!  The finale deserves the same love as its debut don’tcha think? Pretty please!

As I’ve said before, every time I’ve read To Last A Lifetime, I'm pleasantly surprised. At first I thought, ‘oh here we go again, she’s not going to tell him, he’s coming back with Wonderbread, she’s going to gloat, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah’ and then when she showed up in the trench and heels, I almost stopped reading (seriously) because I just knew he’d punk out and totally destroy Molli but that was definitely NOT the case!  I didn’t expect Molli’s revelation, didn’t see Aunt Mae’s affection, NEVER anticipated Simon’s reaction and Cooper’s entrance to the hilarious calamity was the cherry on top!  GuurrrllI…I was breathless from hollering so much, I couldn’t stop lmao and then the ending just made me swoon:

"Simon, we need to talk," Moliere said quietly.

"Yes, we do," he whispered to her, brushing her cheek lovingly.

"I'm in love with her, Amber," Simon said, his voice even, cool, his eyes still in Moliere's.

"Amber, I'm in love with Moliere and she's carrying my child."

I'm very interested to see what happens next and down the road: what Amber-Who has to say, what’s wrong with Aunt Mae, what Cooper’s hiding but more importantly, I'm enthusiastic about Simon and Moliere’s relationship and their bundle of joy. So see…there’s absolutely too much fabulous ground to cover for at least five additional chapters! J

Aunt Mae is PRICELESS and so is the author’s talent!

Awesome chapter!

She looked up at him. "No." He sucked his teeth and turned away as she giggled. She hopped up from the couch and followed him into the kitchen, watching his naked backside flex with each step. She bit the corner of her bottom lip, her core wetting and pulsing almost painfully. She was pretty sure there was no way she'd be able to have sex again, not so soon, but Simon was making it difficult to focus on the health of her coochie while looking like that. And so effortlessly. She stopped in the middle of the kitchen and crossed her weakened legs, moaning to herself and letting her eyes close. By the time she opened them, Simon was stalking towards her, his dick bobbing as it hardened with each step.

"Yeah, pepperoni, mushroom, large, Sprite," he groaned, his voice hoarse, eyes set on ripping his button-down off of her. He grunted their address and promptly hung up, his arm wrapping around her waist in the next second. He pulled her against him, his head dipping to kiss her hard.

OOOHHH LA LA!!!! SIMON IS DA MAN!!  OMG! That's my fav scene.  I know Molli's kicking herself for letting that man almost slip through her fingers.  But their time is now, not then.  They've shared a life for ten years...now it’s time to share their love.

I freakin' LOVE Aunt Mae and Cooper.  They are the finishing touches to these wonderful characters, this enchanting story actually.  I don't know what's going with them, I'm not even going to guess (well, that's not exactly true. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what could possibly be up with Cooper but I'll just have to be pleasantly surprised *wink wink*).  I just hope everything works out for the best.
