dem is really battling with the horrific news his talk with gerald was so heartbreking  but like a true good man that gerald is he wanted to let dem know that he loved him and that he was still his farther....ok seleah and joseph are just wonderful i love how he is trying to build his loving relationship with seleah i am glad that she is going back to church with joseph by her side thank youuu for another fantastic update will be waiting for your return next week enjoy your son's wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay...I usually don't review on workdays...but I read this last night and I just had to come on and comment...the reveal was even more painful and heart-wrenching than I could have imagined...so much pain...the nerve of Bernard Walker...as if his "hush" money would wipe away the destruction that his sick, depraved father has wrought...I was so angry for Seleah...how dare he...to "protect" his mother...a woman who had to know just what kind of monster she was married to...to save her "reputation" and their family's "good" name...the truth needed to come out...though I ache for Dem and Seleah...poor disillusioned Dem...feeling so hurt and betrayed...but I do know that time heals all wounds...some are just deeper than others...I got physically sick picturing that sick bastard Walker crowing like a peacock after just raping a young child and washing himself with satisfaction...death was too good for him...the sick puppy...I have no words for what I want to do to him and others like him that do such unspeakable, despicable things to children...

I'm glad that Joe was there for Seleah...for so long she's carried this burden ...now is the time to lay that burden down...I know she feels like she's lost her son...but I have faith in Dem...he'll come around...eventually...hopefully sooner rather than later...and poor Marri...besides feeling ill about Walker did to her...she has to be feeling some type of survivor's guilt...now knowing the truth about just how much her sister sacrificed for her...they do all need counselling...this was such a painful, yet powerful update...I look forward to what comes next...and congrats on your son's upcoming wedding...you'll be the belle of the ball as the proud mother of the groom...keep the updates coming...

Tears running down my face! I am hurting foe Dem and Saleah but the truth is out and Now everyone have to find a way to heal.

Ahhh! The truth has finally surfaced and what in the world was Bernard thinking when he thought he could pay her off to keep that secret. Leah needed to purge that vile like Amaris did all on the kitchen floor.

Like Paula said Mrs. Walker had to suspect that he was doing something but turned a blind eye and Dem may not be the only prodoct of his betrayal. The man was sick beyond what I intially thought to to go after a child because your son was interested in her WTH!?!

Joesph is correct they need to get some couseling. Joe asked Leah to marry him, I like that but again I am like Leah, he is still in school and he lives with his brother in another state mind you.

All of Leah's encounters have been practically forced on her Joe was the first feel good and sista girl was about 2 hac the big O but with never having one she thoght she had 2 go.

Dem poor baby was and is so hurt> He needs 2 stop thinking he is like the pedophile that sired him it's not a disease that is herditary baby it can't be passed down to your offspring. He needs time and I hope he will forgive his mom for not telling him and his father Gerald as well.

Damn Joseph, how waiting for Seleah to begin going to therapy first.  You just met the woman, and she is not ready to give you her heart yet.  This is so awesome.  I can't stand that Bernard, your father raped her as a child and you are worried about your momma.  Joseph should have stomped in his head!!

Wow I understand what Selsha son feels I asked god all the time why did it happen to me why did I have to be hurt in such a cruel way. I still look for answers. I hope he talked to his mom and understand that she loves him and why she kept quiet all that time. I'm glad that she has Joe to help her heal. thank for the update.

OMG!!! Its like I just took a deep breath I have been holding forever!!!! I feel like I can breathe again and I'm crying and I am so glad that Seleah was able to finally get all of this off of her chest and that Dem does not do anything stupid and realize that his mother was a terrified child who was incapable of coping with what happened.  Great update Brenda, you never disappoint!!!!

I'm so proud of Seleah for finally revealing the truth and also turning down Bernard's hush money. Eventhough she in a financially burden she has enough dignity to refuse his money.
