LOL...is Shaun gonna call Celia back and get advice after hanging up on her. Say what you will about Celia; what she's saying to Shaun about keeping her head because this is supposed to be an assignment isn't wrong. If she wants a relationship with Adam, then stop all this mess right now, come clean, then have one with him. Don't get Celia twisted; she's cradle to the grave with Shaun, and she's trying to help the woman keep her head straight about what she's doing, and more importantly, whyshe's doing it. According to Shaun, this is her big break. Celia has no vested interest in this one way or the other. How did she become the bad guy...lol? Plus, everything Celia says Adam is going to try, he does!

And even though Adam is being really great with Shaun, and doing stuff he doesn't need to, lets not forget this is business for him, too! This is all a publicity farce to keep his reputation from tanking to one of a racist! So what does that say about him? Seems like he's using her as well. Adam hatched a plan with his agent, and Shaun with her editor. They start off on even footing to me.

So what we have here is each catching feelings for the other when neither is really supposed to.

Cant wait for what happens next!

I understand that Celia is looking out for her friend by telling her not to get emotionally involved. But she has to realize that now there's something more between Shaun and Adam, right?

I wish that Shaun was more confident, she wouldn't need to call Celia that much. But at the same time, considering her past, it makes sense that she relies on her more experienced friend in terms of relationships.

I just fear that in the long run, it xould cause more damage than good.

I am excited that the ex is back in the picture. It should be a challenge for Adam lol.

Man, this is really hard to read, especially now that we know that Adam isn't as big of a douche as We (including Shaun) thought he was. I'm interesting to see the certain downfall, and how Shaun is going to have to redeem herself. It's going to be tough. Adam is already jaded, and doing things he's not used to, and to that he's being played for a fool will kill him. But I don't know, in Hollywood, these couples tend to get back together anyway.

I LOVEEEEEE that they're getting closer and developing feelings or one another but it sucks that its under they false circumstances. Can't wait to see what hapens next.

As soon as I saw the update for this story, I exclaimed, "It's my birthday!" But it isn't my birthday. It's not August!

That said, I am very happy that you updated this story; it has to be one of the best "worlds" that I have visited in a long time. This says much, as I am an avid reader, who owns a Nook and is self-employed baker/blogger!

The story is progressing nicely. I read some of the comments from the last chapter, and many people felt that Shaun's "deceptions" would be her downfall and you've deftly handled those concerns by adding some truths. And Adam coming to grips with his feelings...and being the aggressor? Sublime. I never like it when women vigorously pursue a man.

Again, I look forward to reading what you write and I implore you: please complete this story! It truly is awesome!

I truly enjoy this story, however REALLY? Yes she is his paid girlfriend, but she is going to write a story on him. I HATE PEOPLE THAT LIE!!!!!! She is using his problem to her gain. Dishonest is dishonest. What the hell is up with her calling her friend all the time. I say go with how you feel, live your life. I see that he is falling in love with her. LOVE THE STOEY, HATE THE LIES.

Cute.  I avoided reading this story for my own reasons but just decided to go ahead and give it a try. I must say I love this Rules game she is playing although reluctantly.  Celia is a beast and straight schooling her girl Shaun.  Though I must say I can't wait for the "falling in love" part and the "hurt" part.

I havent been on this site in a while because I hate waiting 3 months for an update (I competely understand ppl have other priorities) ..but I came across this story and fell in love...Its fresh, new and def exciting...

Adam is falling hard for Shaun but I really hope that she doesnt publish the story..i am not a fan of games.He is really trying to make up for his comment and the fact that she is using him makes me want to slap her and take her place...ok, maybe I want to take her place for my own selfish reasons, lol but a girl can only dream....
