Title: Rule #1: When In Doubt, Tell him “No”

This story is so well written and that the male lead is based on the sexy Adam L is nothing but a bonus. I can actually picture him completely from the mannerisms to the dialogue between characters. Tgis update was wonerfol. Celia is a trip, great casting there too. Bravo and keep them coming.

I cannot wait for you to update this! I've been watching "The Voice" and he has a singer on his team named Amanda. I can totally see this story adapted to them in some way. He clearly acknowledges her bueaty, both verbally and nonverbally and she you can get her personality-her humor and intelligence through her vignettes. Everytime we see them, I recall this story. Again, please update soon!

I think Adam is in for more than he has bargained for! I also Miss Shaun will not be able to write her article without falling prey to Adam's charms. I know there will be a HUGE backlash from blacks as well as whites before they get to there happy place. But, I am LOVIN the concept of this story!

I really like the way they interact with one another, their conversations and mannerisms (nuances) when they are together; it’s not overly sweet nor blatantly obnoxious, they just…work.  I like that he appreciates her intelligence and that she respects the artist in him.


I do, however, have to wonder about Adam’s bullshit radar.  He suspects something isn’t right because one, he’s called her on it several times, two, chick doesn’t have a graceful bone in her body – at least not for the runway - and three, what professional glamour girl acts like Pretty Woman in an exclusive boutique?  Nah, at this point I'm thinking he’s purposely donning blinders to her misrepresentation because he’s really digging her.  If Shaun doesn’t come clean soon, the paparazzi/gossip rags will do it for her.


Loved the opening scene with Leroy and Adam…too funny.  Can’t wait for Shaun to meet his sister (probably by happenchance I'm sure), and Katie’s reaction to her brother’s ‘girlfriend’.  What’s the deal between Adam and his father? What’s behind Janelle’s warning to Adam about knowing his place in the previous chapter?


Shaun and Adam are pleasurable characters to read (Katie too, she’s adorable). Nice chapter, update soon.

Mr. Brand your can't help but put your foot in it can you?  This is going to be bad when the truth comes out, I would hate for Sean to loose out on love.  Please tell me that there will be a happy ending?!  Love this story!
