They are both a mess. People usually put up walls to hide their feeling or in this case schoolwork and dance class. At least he was there in her tome of need instead of ignoring her. This should be a moment of realization and and a moment to reconcile. Ignoring the problem will never make it go away.

The last time these two parted, Jae Hwa had made a personal promise to only focus on three main things in life, and Lisa wasn't one of them, but obviously he falls to temptation as he has programmed himself to walk past the places where she is only to see just a glimpse of her back. So his being there at that particular moment wasn't a part of the plan he has been "attempting" to follow for himself...He told me that he didn't want to be there when she woke up and have to face the awkwardness of being in the same room
