Hahaha Margie is such a riot. Teddy (Benny) is right it is going to take long to win "grandma" over. Im glad Abigail has the upper hand. She does have the upper hand right?. Lol with you being you we will have to wait and find out.

Abigail knows her brother thrives on prestige and power.  He has the money, but there are things that money can't buy and that's a good reputation.  People have looked up to Raymond and that's about to unravel.  More is coming!

I love how you transitioned from Bennie's initial shock at finding out that he's biracial to his righteous indignation at confronting his pond scum "uncle"...oh, please let Bennie bring this bastard down...he's so sickening...how could he do something so vile to a child...and try to justify it by talking about her physical appearance...she was a child...the end...tears for poor Ophelia...but despite the abuse...she loved her baby boy anyway...what an incredible capacity to love she has...Bennie was blessed twice...he has two beautiful mothers...the frightened abused little girl who gave birth to him and the wonderful woman (despite being from the gene pool as the monster who was his sperm donor) who raised him...can't wait to see him exact his revenge against that cruel subhuman whose DNA he shares in his mothers' names...more please, Brenda!!!

Raymond is definitely a piece of shyt.  I hope he get's he a$$ handed to him and the money and power he has is taken from him.  No, I don't want him dead but I do want him to suffer and be terrorized for the rest of his days either that being in prison or his own mind don't bother me none.

Ben is a very intelligent young man. His mama/aunt is a great woman as well.  Does she have money to are is it only Raymond that has the money?

Ben/Jacob Sr hmmm sounds like he may have some undertones of racism but I can't really say right now.

Great story as always another one that I have to add to my hooked list.

OOOO THAT SORRY SONOFABITCH!!!!  puhLEEZZEEE for all that is right, and for the righteous who deserves justice...please tell me Teddy taped that conversation! Only to be made known when the moment is...right.

And his so-called 'father'...the one who raised him...is almost as dispicable as the one who sired him.  Well...no, I take that back...no one is as vile as 'Uncle Raymond'.  Bastard!

Oh my heart broke for Ophelia.  She didn't even get a chance to hold him, or hug him, or barely touch her baby boy.  I was crying for the both of them.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

Whaaa?! Wow this was a great chapter. Great buildup. The only thing that I didn't grasp was where Benny made connection to go to Jersey. But this just got real. What freaking bastard! Dirty old man... Poor Ophelia is gonna freak when she finds out this last bit out. I wonder if his father knew? He seemed to want to convince Benny to "forget all about this being black stuff." Can't wait to read more! On a side note, have you ever seen the movie Skin set in South Africa with Sophie Okonedo? Thats a great film about a white south african couple set in the 60s who had a child with mixed race features. And they made them reclassify her person of color, striping her of many rights. It's a true story too. But keep up the good work!

Wow !!! Your muse is seriously working hard.  I am pretty confident in saying Uncle Raymond's "friend" does not realize just how much Benjamin has inherited from his biological father in treachery, manipulation and cunning.

Taking advantage of children mentally, physically or sexually is a personal subject matter for me.  I am looking forward to read how this unfolds.
