I cried. But I am glad Sasha took back her power 

 GO SASHA!!! That's how a grown ass woman held themselves. She said it with class and respect. I applaud her for that. I am sad that they are over, but she needed to have a man respect her for who she is, wrong or right. Have your woman's back. Now I can't wait for the next chapter, I hope Sasha gets her happy ending :D

Woohoo go Sasha! And Dominic was absolutely correct. Nadia is not a child and she is not innocent. If Dmitri hadn't dumped Sasha over Sasha's actions, then Nadia would have done something to mess them up.

Sasha totally just took the power back and it won't be long till Dmitri is really feeling her absence. I'm hoping the end game is Sasha and Dmitri, but I wouldn't mind seeing Sasha with someone else and I especially wouldn't mind if Dmitri saw it too.

So good!! I am so glad that she did that for herself and did not play the victim. She is a strong woman! And I am glad she is growing up. But, I don't want her to lose all of her innocence(?). She is a great person and I cannot wait for the next chapter.

After reading the story again, I can not be surprised that Sasha was going to be heartbroken at some point.  

It is sad that her life experiences have led her to allow others to treat her with disrespect and disdain so that she does not have to feel alone. She is seeking acceptance at any and all costs, but she is the only one that can stop that cycle. 

Dmitri also has baggage, but he was always honest with Sasha. It appears his family life was not a picnic, either, but most people feel that's no excuse to be mean to Sasha. His attitude changed towards her when she began imposing her ideas on his family life, even as he blatantly told her what would happen if she continued. Dmitri was not the catalyst for this recent situation, it was all Sasha and as heartwrenching as his words were to her, it was a natural consequence to her actions.

Sasha nor Dmitri have enough experiences with healthy relationships to make positive choices at this time. I agree with a lot of reviewers that they need time to grow and accept themselves (Sasha-victim syndrome, lack of self esteem/Dmitri-father's rejection, sister/brother responsibility) before they can work on being together (but I do want them together).

I've been pondering this last chapter and I think although Sasha's heart was in the right place she should not have interferred. Because she grew up in care of the state her view of what a family is and it's dynamics are incredibly rose tinted.

Philip Larkin, an English poet put it best when discribing families, “They f*ck you up, your mum and dad. They may not mean to, but they do. They fill you with the faults they had And add some extra, just for you." And I have to say that Dominic's family are f*ucked up beyond belief.

However, I don't like the way that Dominic started to treating her and speaking to her since his father came back on the scene. As for the scene at the hospital that was unreasonably harsh, almost as if he wanted to crush her.

Now how would I like the rest of the story to pan out? I'd like to fastforward a few years. Sasha has finished her education and has been working in her chosen profession for a few years. She's got the gloss of having provided for herself. She's harder (not too hard her softness is part of her charm), savvier, sparkier and less naive. They meet again and she's not soo easy to catch. She's had a few flings and maybe one or two meaningful relationships but they lead to marriage. She's loving life and ocassional thinks back to what would have happened if they'd stayed together.

As for Dominic,  I hope the intervening years have been great - his business is going fantastically well and life is generally fabulous in every area but in his personal life. They meet again and it's game on. however this time they're a bit more evenly matched, Sasha isn't cowed by his success and sophistication.

Anyway,  that's my take and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the story pans out...

I must say that this fallout didn't come as a surprise. And I am glad it happened because some drastic changes need to happen in their lives.

Oh Dmitry....I was routing for you homie. I really was. I understood that you are a product of your family and environment so I thought that made you redeemable. Well you shot that optimism in the face. I understand your anger, guilt, and concern for your sister but you just CRUSHED and DESTROYED that woman you claimed to care about. So I'm not here for you or righteous indignation. 

Poor Sasha....I was routing for you too boo, But these dumbass decisions must cease. I don't know what the hell convinced you that interfering in his life after only two months of knowing him was a good idea. Get some help boo. Live life for you! Believe in yourself and deal with your abandonement issues. Because you are better off alone until you deal with all those insecurities. You have to stop letting people stomp all over you. Lawdamercy....

And Nadia, Nikolai, Faye, and Jaelynn can ALL choke on a dick. I'm through with all of them.

In a weird way I understand Dmitri's anger. Sasha over stepped the bounderies Dmitri set. Nadia has been nothing but mean and disrespectful to her. Why did Sasha think she could talk to her about anything? Dmitir's father and sister are unbalaced and she cannot help bridge a gap that she knows nothing about. Sometimes you just need to back off and let poeple process things in thier own way.

Was has reaction over the top? Yes. Does he need to apologize later? Yes, but so does Sasha.

This chapter was so sad.I feel sorry for Sasha . Hope everything works out soon for her and Dmitri. I know he is just angry and emotional right now.
