I totally disagree withe everyone else. Sasha had it coming. Maybe not as heartless as it was but she needed that. She was not married to him so his family business was none of her concern. He even told her to leave it alone. But no she knew better than anyone and had to put her nose in where it did not belong. Family dynamics are different for everyone and your girlfriend and/or boyfriend should respect your right to decide how to deal with your family.

1) Sasha girl. Girl. I know you are hurt, you've been hurt, and the thought of people you love running out on you is a fear, darling I understand that, but woah girl you have got to know when you need to just leave people in their damn own mess... Dimitri, his father, and sister are in serious need of some therapy. At first, I wanted Sasha to stand up for herself, but it is just not in her character. It is time to stop letting others humilated her, verbally and physically.
Begging them to all make-up finally worked and they all kicked HER ass to the curb.
I think Dimitri is a bit slow, selfish, and mean--he doesn't deserve her. He won't realize he loved her until she is actually gone. Sasha should pack up, leave that key and get the hell out of dodge fast!
She needs time to heal and something in her life to make her want to live and grow stronger, but even if she had a baby I would be scared to her him around these fruit loops.

Though Sasha brought this humiliation and heartache on herself, she needs to step off from Dmitri and his crazy-ass family. Dmitri is from a different universe; a twilight zone too far removed from humanity for hope of the fairy tale.
Sasha should cherish the moments she had with Dmitri, not condemn it. He's the lesson she needed to learn, the experience of loving with abandon and the wisdom to asist her through the mysteries of men.

I tried...really tried with this story but Sasha has become PITIFUL, I mean she was already a doormat but this just takes the cake! Dmitri is an asshole! I wish Sasha hadn't begged him to understand and not leave her. He totally didn't deserve it, he deserved a slap across the face. I can't wait until he realizes that he screwed up and seeing as I do want them together, I hope Sasha gives him hell before she let's home come back to her.

Sasha is going to experience a lot of pain from this, but she can either grow and become stronger from it or become the wallflower that she once was. After the way Dmitri's family treated her and both Dmitri and her mom abandoned her, please don't let her breakdown. After her heart has healed, maybe she can find love with someone else that truly appreciates her.
Dmitri needs to let go of his demons with his family, if he had he could have truly loved Sasha like she was supposed to be loved, but he didn't and his frustrations with .Once Dmitri gets himself together and tries to get Sasha back he either needs to work extremely hard for it or not get her back at all. The way I'm feeling toward him right now, is he doesn't deserve her, eve as a friend.

Modern society is messed up. When I got married I also married into my husband's family (rather we interact with each other or not is irrelevant) and he into mine. If I want to give him my opinion about something I am going to.
Dimitri's reaction was way over the top, he is such a weak man, especially weak mentally.
Sasha doesn't have to stay out of anything. What is she a dog now that needs to learn her place? That is crap, he doesn't have to agree but she is entitled to know his past and have a opinion. Screw Dimitri and his f'ed up family.
I am tired of the Sasha dumping both in the story and the reviews. She doesn't need therapy. Not all women are ready to pop off like some ghetto hoodlum. Sasha is more sensitive and there is nothing wrong with that. Everyone is different and that is what makes Sasha so great. All she has done is love Dimitri and she has gotten nothing out of it but stress and disrespect. I hope that she will move on now.
Hopefully she will take some time to herself and move one a little bit because Dmitri hasn't changed that much since his first introduction.
The one who really needs to get a backbone is Dimiti because he lets his sister and father run over here. Dimitri needs therapy not Sasha.

I like this story, but I'm so tired of Sasha getting dumped on. It's getting painful to even read on her behalf.
