Hmmm. This story was nice so far but this chapter is just stupid drama for the sake of drama. Just stating how stupid Tess is in advance doesn't make her behaviour less stupid. I get that every body can just slip but I don't feel much sympathy for that girl right now, I just want Jay to run far away and get over his puppy love. And she better not try and hide it from him and rather come clean ASAP.
Also, talking about coming "clean" what happened to safe sex? First Tess is having bareback sex with Jay (sure, he is a good guy and all, but she doesn't know much about his sexual history, and it is not like they were in a rush, he had time to go get that ice cream). And then she let Eric give her an head, knowing he has been having this mouth of him over half of Atlanta's pussies? Really girl? And it is not that you didn't had great sex for a while: you just had raw sex with a stud presumebly a few hours ago. I mean, really?! SMH.

Trust me thw whole safe sex thing popped into my head too, but i didn't want to go the Tyler Perry Temptation route have people getting all sorts of diseases because they make bad decisions. I got tired of reading stories and books with perfect heroines that only dealt with flawed males. I wanted Tess to be completely human, with moments poor judgement and triumph, people rarely make clean breaks with long term exes. She is actually, styled after a friend of mine of which I gave the same lecture you just said...so it's not that far fetched LOL...

Jay has basically pampered and spoiled this woman and that apparently wasn't enough. Now anybody can backslide to something that we know is not good for us, but Tess got what Tess wanted and that was some D from Eric.
I hope Eric is knocking on Jay's door right now telling him.
Jay should find another job and get tested on the way to the orientation class. If he stays...well, I just think he can do better.

Jasmine is funny and she seems genuinely happy for Tess. That's how best girlfriends are with each other. Eric s a ass hole who will need a retraining order filed against him. As that fool thinks that Tess will take his cheating ass back. I love Jay! Tess doesn't seem to have many true friends but I would like to see Jasmine remain that for her. SO don't have Jasmine make a move I on Jay. However, maybe allow Eric think that he could make Tess jealous by making a play for Jasmine and had Jasmine's hubby fuck him up. Yep that's the ticket!
