Title: Chapter 33

Man, all those messages back to back would drive me crazy. Matt has his reasons to leave messages and I believe that Jodi just forgot. Craig SEEEEM like a nice guy, but I don't know him that long just yet; however, I like the fact that Jodi is having a good time with a guy at a slow pace that is not connected to Steve, Matt, and Mitch. But, she still needs to get help because the way she is putting herself down is driving her crazy.

This is just MY opinion. Is she Steve's dirty little whore? To me, no. She and Steve have sex like everybody else who is in their position. Do I think that she crossed the line by possibly liking Matt who just so happens to be Steve's brother? Yes. That's a line that no man and woman should cross and Jodi needs to put an end to that.

Now, she considers herself as Steve's dirty whore. Even though Kirk had said that she was a dirty whore back then, she is making herself feel that way and she is giving Kirk more power than ever before. If she doesn't want to be Steve's "dirty whore," then honey do not have sex with him and see him. If she feels like Steve will trigger her violent past, if they have these sexual encounters, then she needs to stop and examine herself and get help.

I understand that people go through their depression after an incident, but it gets tiring afterwards. I don't mean to sound mean at all, but it gets tiring to a person who has to hear their love ones putting themselves down all the time and see their lives going down in a spiral. My message to Jodi is this and this is with a whole lot of love and it comes from the very bottom of my lovely heart and I hope that one day in future chapters she wakes up:

Get your grown ass up and continue to see your therapist. Before you go, tell Matt that you are sorry about not attending to his niece recital and dinner and that you didn't mean to string him along and to hope that you two become friends. If he accepts, that is fine and if he doesn't , then let him go. If he accepts, let him know that you need time for yourself and phone calls and text is out of the question. Tell that to Mitch too. If Steve is the man you want to be with, let him know that and say the same thing that I am hoping you are going to say to Matt and give Steve boundaries that when you mean that you want to be alone, you mean no phone calls, texting, and coming by the house. Do not explain to him why you need time to yourself, until after you have worked on yourself where it is okay for you to talk about your past. If Steven is not the man you want to be with, then let him down easy and still put boundaries on him and that you meant business.

I can't say anything about Craig, but I will say this. Jodi, if Craig seems like a great potential mate (after you two get a chance to know each other), then let him know that and let him know that because you want to work on that relationship, you need to have time to yourself to get back to your oldself again and you are doing that because you have feelings for him. Like Steve, do not explain why until after you have worked on yourself where you feel secure to talk about your past.

Hell, I am treating this like it is happening right now in front of my face lol! This is a good story and I hope that Jodi works her life out. I am praying for her.

Title: Chapter 1

She is already in a mess with Steve, Matt and Mitch, and now she wants to throw Craig in to the mix? Well, at least he is not related to them. Jodi needs to gets her facts straight. Get some counseling first before accepting to go on dates with different guys. What is she trying to accomplish? She is getting herself in a situation that she is not ready to handle. I feel sorry for Matt in all of this. Steve needs to stay the hell away from Jodi. Its obvious that he is the one who is interested in her and not her in him. He seems like a cool guy. He deserves better. Jodi is not in a condition to be with anyone right now. And if she is so willing in to mess around with his own brother, than that should already tell him that she doesn't care about him or has any respect for him either. They are not in a relationship, but if she wants to have another guy on the side, the least she could do is find a man who is not related to him. What a mess. I feel sorry for Jodi, she had a hard past. But she seriously need to get some help.

Jodi, wake the hell up! The call you need to be making is to a psychiatrist and not the one  from your past beacuse she didn't do shit for you. You are not Steve's dirty secret but you are his heart. Or you would be if you give him a real chance.  I love that Steve stuck up for Matt even though he wants Jodi for himself.

Title: Chapter 31

I love this story but it is a little inconsistent with her age. If she was 45, she was in high school early 80's. There were no personal cell phones. Only for the really REALLY rich and then those monstrosities were huge and stored no numbers. At best everyone had pagers, if that. So if u edit again, try pay phone. Grammar and spelling don't bother me as much the age slip, because her age and flashbacks just don't link up at all. I try to overlook it but her way of speaking in the beginning and her teen years do not say 45. Petty, yes, otherwise I love the story. Not only do you know your way around descriptive sex you made me cry over her trauma. This story is not too hot to this site. I'm starting to like this site better than literotica frankly.

Author's Response:

SunnySideDown,

Thanks for your comment. Those inconsistencies were brought to my attention by AshAsh as well. I  am currently re-writing those chapters  and working on the new ones. It will take a little while but I will get everything corrected.

I don't want anything to distract the readers from Jodi's journey.  I do realize that although these errors are  unintentional they can wreck the integrity of the story.

@Everyone - thanks for your patience. :)

Title: Chapter 31

Okay, I totally forgot that this had happened but I just want to say that the part where I said that 'I am surprised that Jodi didn't flip out on Steve' when it comes how Steve has sex with Jodi and how Kirk had sexually abused Jodi. NEVERMIND, she did flipped out and that was when Steve asked Jodi to be on top and that had triggered her traumatic past where Kirk so disgustingly wanted her to be on top. My bad, I forgot.

I do have a question though. Is Kirk going to be poppin' up in this story because if he is I want Jodi to cut his **** off and any other body parts off. But, Jodi baby get some help

Title: Chapter 31

We as human often like to have what ever excuse to justify the things we do wrong. I too may not understand what woman who has been sexual abused repeatedly has gone through, but I do know of woman who knows they have a problem and knows that they need help but refuse to go and seek for that help. You can't force someone to get better, they have to want to get better.

And yes we all have done things that we are not proud of  but there are also a lots of woman who does use their head before they make a stupid mistake. I know that Jodi is in a whole other place though. And that her sexual behavior have some what to do with her being rape. But that still doesn't mean that its ok.

If a women wants to be sexually active, then they should do that. It's their life and they can do what ever they want. I personally wouldn't do that, nor would I put myself between two brothers either. I think that this is where some people have trouble with Jodi. Yes she is a woman who has been trough a lot. She is traumatized but she is not stupid or retarded. She is a grown woman who should know that you can't be sleeping with a brother and messing around with the other without the other even knowing about it. If she wants to sleep with Steve and also have another sex buddy on the side, she can do that. But at least with another man who is not his brother.

Calling Jodi loose or a ho is too extreme. But in a way, she is behaving like one. She has a traumatic past but yet it seems that she has no problem sleeping around. I'm not saying she is a ho, because I don't think that she is. But if she is having all those thoughts about her past, she should focus on getting help, work on herself instead of getting herself in to this mess between Steve and his brother Matt. Yes she has a problem I totally get that, but the only person who can help is herself.

Steve sexual behavior may be the trigger to Jodi's traumatic past, but then again, he doesn't know that she is a victim of rape, and Jodi is willingly sleeping with him. So blaming him about this is unfair. Plus if Jodi truly ants to be better she should keep her legs close for a while and stop sleeping with Steve. Especially if she wants to continue seeing his brother.

The only person that can save Jodi is herself. The path that she keeps herself on is only hurting her. Does she realize that she is letting those that traumatized her still control her? She is a strong person, when she realizes that maybe she will use her courage to get control of her life.

I like the story but you need an editor. The continuity is way off, what is Jodi's age when her friend was listening to Nicki Minaj while they were in college and she was texting in highschool? I thought she was supposed to be 40something in the present? You might want to change that to mid/late 20s for the story to make sense. You also change tenses a lot.

Author's Response:

sorry that you are confused. Jodi began reminiscing about her sophomore year in college beginning in chapter 28. Thanks for allowing me to clarify for you.

Title: Chapter 31

This story is deep and heartbreaking. I may not understand what Jodi and every other women who has been sexual abused repeatedly has gone through, but I do understand that when you experience tragic moments you think it is easy just to put it on a shelf and leave it alone and do certain things that is out of character and not realizing it connects to your past experience that you have put on the shelf. I believe this is what Jodi is doing. She has all these sexual feelings towards three men that led her to having sex with one man, Steve, and almost having sex with another, Matt. I believe she has always felt dirty and did not care about how she feel about herself, so she thought that 'If I am a dirty whore' like Kirk kept telling her over and over, then 'Why not have sex with any men that I see?' And don't forget, Jodi DID come to a realization that her being very sexual active is a result of her rape.

To me, if women want to be sexually active, then go ahead. There are some women who have sex and just let it be and have high self-esteem. There's nothing wrong with that, I mean I wouldn't do it but that is just me. Before we even call a woman like Jodi a ho or loose, we need to ask ourselves haven't we gone through that stage where our self-esteem is too low that we look towards sex and/or an unhealthy relationship with a guy/girl to fill that void? We all have done what Jodi has done or other things and not knowing that it has a lot to do with our past until either we finally come to our sense that it does or someone has to bring our past up to make us realize that our actions is a result of our past. Now, Jodi needs to stop playing around and get help because this is killing her; and she also needs to talk to Eddie and Greg about what happen.

With Steve and Matt, I cannot help but feel a connection between them two and Kirk and Greg. There are some similarities between Jodi having sex with Steve and the sexual abuse that Kirk did to Jodi. Kirk and Steve say the same dirty sex talk (well, with kirk is more of a violation than anything) and done similar things in the bedroom, and I am surprised that Jodi didn't flip out on Steve. I feel that Greg and Matt have similarities when it comes to fallen for a woman and then getting there hearts broken (well, Greg misunderstood what Jodi had gone through).

I feel like that she may string Matt along and he would show Jodi how a woman should be treated, but Jodi will have sex with Steve every now and then. It is like Deja Vu but without the sexual abuse. The fact that she didn't tell Matt that she is sleeping with his brother is the same when she didn't tell Eddie and Greg about the sexual abuse that Kirk did to her. It is like history is repeating itself over again and it is up to Jodi to change the story. She either get help and choose between Steve or Matt or neither, get help and work on herself, or get help and have Mitch help her along the way and eventually they end up being together. But first, Jodi needs to get help.

This is a great story and one of the best. Some chapter are hard to read but these things happen in real life. Even though this is a fictional story, it is also an autobiograpy and a biography to those who were a victim like Jodi.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much for you input. You get our tormented Jodi. Honestly I have been very surprised and have even been brought to tears, at the constant negative feedback and name calling of this character, Jodi. There ARE people like her, both male and female,  that surround us and live with this inner torture for years. I am not asking for society to accept and support their self destructive behavior but condemning them is even more abusive.

Again, I thank you and others for your insight. There have been many readers (almost 30,000) who haven't commented, but I am sure they feel something from this Lonely saga.

Honestly this story really breaks my heart and tears just come down involuntarily. Some chapters I cringe because when I was a little girl, I too have been sexually abused and a couple weeks ago I finally told someone. Jody needs help, and I really dislike Steve I feel like he is a trigger to her traumatic past. To bad things didn't work out with Greg...I just wanna say Kirk is one sick bastard...I really wish people like him didn't exist in this world.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for your comment. I think that sometimes keeping the secret and not bringing oneself to say it aloud can be far worse than telling it. I am so happy that you were able to speak out. I am grateful that you have continued to follow this story. As always I will remain sensitive to your feeling and as well as others.

I'm sorry but this just doesn't make any sense to me. Or rather yet, Jodi's behavior doesn't make any sense to me. This is a woman who went trough a lot. She was raped and still has trauma about it. But yet she has no problem messing around with two brothers. You can't be sleeping around with one brother and then going on date's and with the other. She is leading Matt on and its not fair to him. What kind of woman would do that? Does she have no shame? I know that she has some issues and that she is a rape victim. But she is also a grown ass woman who should know better. You can't sleep around with one man and go on date's with  his brother. And the fact that she doesn't even acknowledge that is just unbelievable. Yes she and Steve are not in a relationship, and that she can do see who ever she wants. But not if that person is his own brother.  I feel sorry for what she went trough. But she is being too loose and behaving like a ho. She is turning exactly in what Kirk told her she is.

This woman needs therapy ASAP! Some one mention maybe Steve trigger her past well she needs help. Okay, she attracted to Matt why? Because he took her out to eat a couple times it still didn't stop her from acting loose with him. I think the only reason why Steve gets under her skin is the control issue like Kirk did on her. However, if she just come clean and tell him. Until then Jodi irks me because she weak it's time to kick fear in the ass once and for all.
