Very interesting story. Your 5 things are hilarious. I admit that I normally do not read stories about black women that do not look like me (ie. big women) but I do occasionally. I just don't like thin/fit bashing. I have tried to find a story about a big woman falling in love with a big man because to me that is more realistic. Now of course there are exceptions as everyone has preferences (my brother himself is what you could call a chubby chaser and my brother is very fit) but like does attract like but women get mad when men say that if they work out they like for their women too as well and not be fat. Hell I work out and like for my man to be as fit as I but somehow men are not bothered by such statements......

Anyway I think I will continue even though I can not physically relate to the heroine in size or hair (I never wear weve but I do perm my hair twice a year).

A good story is a good story and that is really I am here for, my personal feelings aside about weight and health issues that plaguing the black community in huge numbers are not important for a fictional story.

Love your writing style and I am really enjoying this story but don't forget your other one!!!!

Yes, I agree! It is time for Ryan to "Man Up" and engage in conversation with Camille. If he doesn't someone real is going to step up and grab his good and plenty!

Loved the chapter!  Re cold feet & warm blanket...don't you know anything???  I've been doing the OFO since I was a kid.

Body under the blanket but leave One Foot Out.  It's like heaven.  Just OFO not two.  TFO will make your whole body cold.

Keep the chapters coming and the next one BETTER include them in conversation.  I'm a skilled online magician and I know how to make all of your blankets disappear.

RE KK or as Kevin Hart likes to call them when he's in the room "KKK", I completely ignore them b/c of his mother.  I never met her but she was a college professor, she taught Kanye enough values that he funds nonprofit programs to encourage youth to graduate.  He started doing that years ago thru his mom's "foundation."  

In reality, how could any mother accept her.  A magazine (not a sensational celebrity gossip one) compiled a list of her relationships and marriages.  The gave up at 17 & also listed the relationships she was in while having another man on the side.  What praticulary scared me those was all of the rappers who admitted to sleeping w/her.  5 of Kanye's friends.  Can we sing Hoe Hoe Hoe?  I don't want to see her humiliated but neither do I want her friendship or her in my house.

I do wish that Kanye would get back on his medicine.  Even though I like just a few of his songs, he is so incredibly talented.  It's scary.

Have you watched the 45 minute music video "Runaway"?  It has a 15 minute ballet in it that's just gorgeous.  Just incredible!

I can't wait to find out how he will approach Camille.  She will probably think he is trying to trick her but hopefully she will give the poor guy a chance.  Ryan is just as cautious as Camille with dating.

I'm annoyed with any female that hates on another for no reason regardless of their race.

Insecurity doesn't discriminate.  People of all sizes, shapes and colors have insecurities. 

the kermit NOOOOOOO you're killing me here I can't with this LMAO and coming from the caribbean it was most definitely weird with people having issues with all sizes of women in America. Lawd I remember when I was a teen I was highly self-conscious of my bones because I was around women with so many curves...oh how I wanted those thighs and big butts that mostly all the females in my family back home had. 

To sum it up, idk what's wrong with everyone else. Big, Thick, slim,bones (as I was so affectionately called LAWD)  whatever they want to call it It's all damn bountiful and respected so people need to get on that bandwagon and stop body shaming women.

Yes yep yeah I love you for putting all my thoughts down in this story also this story is a blessing in the midst of the rest (no shade) the only thing that could make me not like it even a little bit would be if you cast the one black man as the bad guy lol but I have a feeling you do that and I only pray that the sex scene is just as good(dirty talk is key ;))

You make me laugh out loud!!  Camille is too funny,  I love her in commentary. I wish my inner commentary were as humorous! That douche who approached Cami in the health club needs to quit it!  I can't wait for Cami and Ryan to meet.

Yes!!! I'm ready for some interaction too. I just hope she gives him a chance and doesn't cuss him out too bad. 

I really like this chapter and how Camille stood up to that superficial asshole  who thought that because of her size she should be put down and mocked because she"s "different".  That type of behavior is not cool.  Ryan needs to find out who those fools were, kick them out of the gym using the excuse that they were harassing and making the other paying clients uncomfortable with their posturing and fat shaming and this is a place where this type of negative behavior is not tolerated.  I can't wait for Camille and Ryan's first real conversation and interaction.

I agree with your annoyed list of the week especially # 1 and # 5.  We as black women should try and uplift each other, not put them down.  We might not like one another, but we should respect each other enough to accept each other's differing experiences, views and opinions.

 #5 has happened to me so many times.  It is really hard to be comfortable when some parts of you is hot and some are cold.  There has to be a balance somewhere, but I don't know what it is.
