Poor Hiram, his whole family is crazy as hell. I hope he can get away from them and fast, with the way they are talking I hope he will be able to protect his family (including Camille, *wink*) and himself.

Savannah is going to help this man out: clean him up, feed him and give him a place to stay. I hope he does not go near his so-called mother ever again. I live in MS and it's not so bad, but I was trying to think of other places to have this couple escape and well, MO is currently a hot bed, NY was stop and frisk, CA problems come out when there is a video around, so...but to survive he will need to get away from his racist family.
He seems a sweet guy, but he is a grown man that just got out of prison, so he needs a rougher edge aded to his character.

I know this is fiction but really that's just not how it would go down. Why would the "adoptive" parent have a say in whether or not the birth parent gets his child? Actually because he was never notified it is Camille who would be the one at risk of loosing Savannah, not the other way around. It's a little off that that an adoption counselor would be the one setting the rules when that is not her role to fulfill. No one has an attorney, no judge is involved, no case worker, no mediator. Even for fiction this whole scene is off.
If this isn't going to go any farther than this site then ignore everything I just typed. But if you plan to one day publish this, then please go back research and tweak this element of the story.
The story has the potential to be great, although even the small things make a difference between a good story and a Fantastic book.

Well Hiriam meet is a daughter and Savannah instantly knew him. That was sweet!! Hiriam is atttacted to Camille which is good but Camille only sees a man a father trying to take her baby. This will be an interesting year to say the least. More please!!

Great update, so far everything seems fair. I am so happy Hiram loves his baby girl, she sounds like a little goddess. LOL! I can't wait to see what find of bond is formed for father and daughter. I can't wait to see what Camille and Hiram are like together, the attraction is there but is it love and passion? Hmm... I hope to find out soon, LOL!!
