Hey Mercie21! Thank you for the answer to my comment...I wasn't expecting that. I'd really love to read a prequel! I think it's a great idea. In the meantime I'm really enjoying this one. Good job and thanks again!
Hi Hollie! Lol no problem! I'm just really grateful that you were honest! I hope you weren't expecting me to be mean lol. You were honest and respectful and that's all I could ask for. Mother's can get their children to do things they don't want to do. I love their special bond. I think the profession he chose was very fitting. Who's better to help a child with mental, emotional and behavior issues, then a person that went through all those issues. One thing I know you can't force them to open up, you just have to give them a little bit of space to figure out if they can trust you are not. Girl... the feeling you feel when you know in your heart what your purpose is in life and watching it transform someone else's life is so rewarding. You did a great job on this update honey.
hahah so true! No matter how much I moan and groan about my mom wanting me to do something, i still do it.
Wow your words touched me. Thank you so much jacqua43! I can never thank you enough!Reviewer: jacqua43 Signed [Report This]

Honestly I'm a little disappointed...I hoped we would get to see him grow up and fall in love while still dealing with his emotional issues from his life back in Syria. I thought it would be like a life journey kind of story...but I still think the prologue was very good and I liked the originality of it.
Hi Hollie! Thank you so much. Yeah I know. You're so right. I think I will write Noah's "coming of age" as a sequel/prequel to this. You're absolutely that it'd be nice to watch him grow after leaving Syria but I felt like that would've been to long of a story for one story so it should be separate. What do you think? I think I'll write a sequel/prequel for you.
Thank you so much for your honesty, you opened my eyes.Reviewer: Hollie Anonymous [Report This]

Wow! what a traumatic experirnce this child had to endure, not only witnessing the death of his mother and father but his brother too, how sad. Thank God for people like Alan and Elena. Noah just have to progress at his own pace and not only see he's safe but feel he's safe. In time I believe he would come to recognize the Hamiltons as his parents. I like the fact that they are trying to give him good memories and a safe and loving home with two people who genuinely care about each other and him. Girl.. this story is dear to me in so many ways. Thank you Mercie21 for another great story.
