Geez! This kid is a whole mess! But what I am liking here, and I hope it continues, is Thea's clarity and resolve now. Pay attention to red flags! Don't make excuses for over the top behavior or place the blame on yourself when it happens. Everett has problems, and she didn't cause them! I'm so glad she really understands that. And she also seems to understand not to make a guy your everything to exclusion of all else; including yourself. She has a good example at home of how that can turn out. 

The trick now is to keep their friends from pulling her into any little dramas that pop up with Everett or those surrounding him like what's just happened. If she's supposedly the only one who can talk him down at every turn, they'll keep her on speed dial! Nope! Thea's not his therapist, and that's probably where Everett needs to start.

She has enough dealing with her mother and the responsiblity of her brother at home. And now this with her first boyfriend that was supposed to be fun, cute, and carefree?! Is she really just suppose to absorb all this crap from them? Most of her friends basically have reasonably normal boyfriend/girlfriend problems and Thea pulls the psycho?! Who is essentially telling her that at sixteen, she'll never be free of him?! When does she get a break?? These people are making her young life a living hell!

And the plot thickens! I'm starting to get a better picture of a lot of these characters. I can't wait to see what happens next

These kids are too young to have so many adult secrets and situations. They all seem so jaded in one way or the other. What a world!

When Everett turns 18 he needs to leave his father behind. There's no way in hell i'll stay and be a punching bag. Nice update

I feel for Everett, but I don't want it to end up with him smothering Thea instead of having a loving girlfriend and close confidante. Doesn't seem like he's had anyone to help him with all of this.
