Kalila is the Guardian or so she is told…whatever that means she's not sure. All she really knows is that it involves a key and the destruction of the world.

Days before her 20th birthday she meets her father and his two best friends. Now her once boring life has become a roller-coaster of mystery, intrigue and romance. It’s nice to finally have a father but what are the feelings she holds for he father's friends Marcus and Caine? Will they live long enough to find out?

I am currently NOT working on this story and don't know when I will be again. Writing this takes a toll on me and I have kinda been posting other things here. Give them a looksie. :]

Something about him was off from the moment we met. Something in my mind told me this was wrong. That he was dangerous. That we weren't meant to be. But he made me feel like I was a part of something. Like it was us against the world.

Centuries ago vampires and other assorted beings co-existed in relative peace on the same plane as humanity. As their powers and numbers grew the majority of humanity became more dangerously superstitious. Eventually the humans began to believe that all vampires were evil and begin their relentless pursuit of them. During this time many of the younger weaker vampires were lost. In order to save their numbers and families both vampire and human, one faction of the vampires created a gateway to another realm. However some vampires stayed behind as they awaited the time to reclaim their rightful place on the earthly plane making sure to keep the truth shrouded in myth.
