I love your story and how you update so quickly! 

She should tell Eshan. His cousin is a simpleton and would sell her cousin out in a heartbeat. She could get Eshan out of the way and lie to her family without confessing her own sins. She's an idot. 

I love the intimacy Eshan and Joss share. It's beautiful.

Joss made a judgment call on keeping Chris's proposal from Eshan.  She didn't want to worry Eshan or provoke him to violence when she assumed her threatening Hirah would be engouh to derail Chris's plans.  We'll soon see if that was the right decision.  So glad you're enjoying the story.  Updates forthcoming.  Thanks for reading and reviewing, Flygurleygrl!

Glad for the update, but this was a "tease chapter". I'll take though! 

I feel so badly for Joss. She has all of these emotions and no one to talk about them.

I'm worried about Hirah. She seems a little unstable. What will she do if she finds out Chris is still pursuing her roomie?

Looking forward to seeing what happens with Josh and E.

Joss has a support system she's yet to tap into.  You'll meet them later.  You're right to worry about Hirah.  She's not done surprising Joss.  More on that and Joss and Eshan to come.

The chapters in this story are shorter than the ones I normally post.  Writing a novellette/novella length story is new for me, so this is a bit of an experiment.  I kind of like the shorter chapters, so I don't plan on making them a lot longer.  I can post a couple chapters at a time though.  I have a lot going on, so that'll mean longer intervals between updates.  But I'm open to that option if that's what readers prefer.

I read some of the reviews and I think you guys are being too hard on Eshan. Being the gentleman he is, he probably felt obligated to speak with the usurped finance to try and explain; "It wasn't you, it was me."

I don't think he's angry with Joss, I think he's sick of people interfering. Give "Eesh" the benefit of the doubt. Have ye such little faith?
