Title: Chapter 2: Mama, come back

Despite all the sadness I could not stop myself from reading this story. My heart weeps for young Alex. Betrayal by your own mother has to really burn. Now, his own actions will shape his daughter's future. The things Daniela said were mean and spiteful. She isn't any better with her callous attitude. To not name her daughter and to get rid of her like trash does not speak well of her. And if her opinion was so low of Alex, why did she sleep with him and leave her daughter to his custody?

I look forward to what direction you take this story. I'm rooting for that precious baby and that Alex gets his life together.

Loving this story. I can't wait things for things to heat up for Mark and Melisa. Although Melisa says she no longer has feelings for Mark, her action shows otherwise.

As for Ann, she is truly wise beyond her years. I wonder how she deal with her mother's new love interest and the possibility of having siblings.

I also wonder has Mark changed enough for Melisa. Although he doesn't see himself as a spoiled rich boy, he is. Melisa is giving him a taste at she felt growing up in this small town.

Charles is such a simpleton. No good can come from his actions. Beyond his false brovado he still that scared little boy that was used by his uncle. I now get the piture. He resents Billy for being a "True Alpha Male". When he was with Janie, she dominated and control him.

When Charles goes and visit Janie I think there going to come to some-type of agreement. They'll get married and he'll grant his father a heir. Janie will allow him to have his side piece and he'll probly allow her have her fun on the side. However, he still going to push his luck with Billy and get burn. If he is not careful, everyone will discover what a weakling he is really is. Charles' father money has always protected him.

I still want to beat the crap out of Charles. His smugness is so annoying.If the Sheriff new of his faux pas... just how willing would he be to accept him into his family? In their conversation he never mention love; it all about him and his need to make his father proud.

The one good thing that came about from Charles trip to Virginia is that his mind is now preoccupied. Paris and Billy have dodge the bullet. I can't wait for them to get married.

Yes, Charles hasn't even thought about Billy since the bomb was dropped on him.  As for love, he's only been with Janie that one night so there is no love yet.  However, no girl has EVER affected him like Janie and that's why he came back.  He wanted to try to see if something was really there between them and now there's a baby to consider.  Will Janie admit that he's the father?  Will she say it's not him to throw both Charles and his father off to buy herself more time?  You'll just have to wait and see.  LOL

Charles and Janie have surprise me how mature they've been. As for unc, he needs to shut his mouth up. I agree with Janie, he should be no where near the baby.

You got me feinin like a crackhead over this story. Billy and Paris are too darn funny. I could barely contain myself when Billy thought Annie was a male.

On a more serious note, Charles' situation with his "Unc" surprise me. This person actually tried to rape him again and had the nerve to be insulted when his brother disowned him. Well, all I can say is that big house is really going to have fun with him. Now he'll understand what its like to be owned.

The few good things that have come from this situation is that Charles has become his own man. By standing up to Unc he has release his fears and can now be a complete son, father and partner to his wife.

Milton was pissed when Charles got married and appeared to move on.  When they told about the abuse, he was determined to regain his control over his nephew.  That didn't happen.   Thanks for the review.  More is coming!
