I can't help but wonder what Grumps said to Madi.  Matt is being all Alpha making his demands and giving rough sex.  LOL  I just hope that Madi doesn't let him totally control her.  Then again, she may just sock him in the eye again with frozen peas.

I love this story.  I think Grumps likes Madi more than he's letting on but wants to see what happens when he pushes her buttons.  I think he wants to be sure that she wants Matt and not his money.  I'm sure she's not the first non bluebood in Matt's family.  I think Madi should talk to Matt not only about her fears concerning his family, but also her own family.  She says that family is important so they need to have an honest conversation.  Great stuff!

This was a sweet chapter.  It's interesting though that Matt thinks his past loves is his past and he has no problem bringing Madi around them, but he wouldn't want her within a 100 feet of any man that she had/has a relationship with other than himself.  Double standard.  hmph!

It's going to be interesting for Matt to meet her family.  No matter how much "research" he does, he won't fully comprehend what Madi is talking about.  I don't know what he plans to say or do to win them over so that'll be interesting. Will he attempt to discuss Madi's issues with her family?  How will she feel about that?  I just feel that Matt thinks its going to be a piece of cake because he's a Bradley and he always gets what he wants out of people.   

Matt can't control everything and he's used to doing just that.  I think there will be some eye opening situations he'll come across once he gets to the states.

Loved this chapter.  It seems that Matt has his plans all laid out, but I doubt if things go according to plan.  I like that he wants to talk to her uncle about his intentions though.  That's sweet.

Now Jenny is a piece of work! She needs to get a job and stop leeching!  The jury's still out on Jamal, but at least he's working.  I hope that he gets a better job.  Maybe Matt will help him out with that.

Matt seems determined to win them all over, but I think its easier said than done since the perception seems to be that he's Madi's rich, white sugar daddy.  LOL   Can't wait for more!

I have to say this:  You can pick your nose, you can pick your friends, but you cannot pick your family.  Your family is your family.  

Now Madi doesn't have the perfect family, but neither does Matt.  If you will recall, his parents are ignoring her existance and think that Madi is just a passing fad for Matt so they don't have to acknowledge her.  Grumps told the poor woman that she's nothing but a whore after Matt's money and if she gets pregnant the Bradley's will take the baby from her.  Even though the brother has come around, he wasn't too thrilled about the relationship either and they have had a whole lot more time to accept what's going on than Madi's family. They only have a week.

Now Matt has stood up to his family and let them know in no uncertain terms that Madi and He are together.

Don't discount Madi and the interaction with her family just yet.  She did ask him to come and meet them which is a big thing in itself.  She promised to protect him and she's keeping her promise.

She stood up to Jamal when he told her that Matt would never marry her.  Why get upset about that since Matt's family basically said the same thing.

As for Aunt Cleo, she can't wrap her mind around no rich white man wanting her neice for any GOOD reason.  She's still eying him suspiciously, but she hasn't really had time to truly find out yet what a good guy Matt is.  

Once he talks to the Uncle and asks for her hand, I think the family will view Matt in a different light.

Yes they are moochers, but we all have those in the family.  I know I do.  I just tell them to back off and Madi is getting there with her family.  Yeah she helped the cousin with college, but she did stress to her to get a job.  

Madi isn't stupid.  She's not blind.  She knows what's going on, but she's willing to put up with it because...hey they're her family...the good, the bad and the ugly.

Some want this story to rush back across the pond because of Madi's family, back to the Bradleys as if they're standing there with open arms to greet and accept their relationship.   Yeah, right.  LOL

What I like about this story is that the characters aren't all good or bad just like real relatives.  Yes Jenny is a pain and Aunt Cleo has her issues, but I do believe that they love Madi and if those other relatives come and try to start some crap about Madi and Matt, I can see them banding together.

You know the story.  I can talk about my family but you better keep your mouth shut.  

This is a great story and Ms. Carr is doing it her way and that's the only way it's going to be authentic.  You go, Ms. Carr.  We're enjoying the ride!

Interesting.  Now what is she going to offer Jamison in exchange for her tuition?  Companionship? Help in his office?  I hope they work out the details at dinner.

Great chapter!  LOL at the thought of those Whitfields having black blood.  However I don't think Hiram can actually take Savannah since the adoption is final.  She could fight that.  Since he still has rights, they would have to share custody just like if she's the birth mother unless she's proven unfit.  Camille needs to have her own lawyer.

So sweet.  Hiram trying to be a good responsible daddy!  I hope Debbie falls in a ditch.

Oh so sweet.  I can see Hiram is falling hard and Camille is still unsure that anyone could love her.  I hope the Klan stays away.  Great update!
