Rosco Witherspoon is an intelligent young lady. In the 1950s South, there are virtually no opprotunities for her considering that she is an African American. By the grace of God, a family will risk everything they have to give her everything she deserves so that she can get a fitting High School education. Following the death of her mother, her three older sisters clench their teeth as they decide to send their youngest off to be cared for by people they've never had a reason to trust because of their skin.
She'll cause the small town to go into an uproar upon her arrival. How long can she get by with passing before she is outed?
