Lorilei Riley is a large black girl who was uprooted at age five when her mother marries and relocates to the small mostly white mining town of Appalachia.  She is the object of ridicule and scorn.  She immediately bonds with Micah Hamilton a young classmate who is also an outsider because of a large growth on his face.

Micah gets a chance at a normal life by having a surgery to remove the growth and Lorilei wonders as they both reach adulthood if Micah has remained with her out of friendship and loyalty or if a guy like him, could really come to  love a plus size girl like her.

Well that was interesting.  Lei and Micah are so sweet!  Esp. Micah.  Teddy and Sabrina have some sexual tension going on.  i like that you are pacing the story slow that makes me anticpate for when Lei and Micah grow up.  Will we be seeing them at different stages such as high school and college? I would like to see that first kiss and first time.  I wonder if Micah will still be crazy for Lei as he gets older or will he leave her for popularity. I personally hopes he stays the same.

Yes, I will be pacing the story. I will say that Micah will not be the problem, the problem will be Lei buying into all the hype about her looks and weight.  More to come soon!

I just love this story.  I was not expecting an update so soon, but I'm happy for it.  Lei and Micah...oh so sweet and good.  Everybody needs a Micah in their life.  I want one.  He is so romantic.  Teddy and Sabrina are something else and just as entertaining.  I can't wait for another upate.

No, you are not wrong to want more Micah and Lei.  It is coming.  I had to get them through the early teens. LOL and my muse got stuck on hot Teddy Lee and Joe Bob becuz you know them kids can't hae sex!!!!(at least not yet) LOL
