I'm 36 and have lived my life believing in the beauty and the power of words, both written and spoken. I have written fanfiction for a number of years to hone my craft and even though I'm still learning, I'm ready to move on to the next chapter of my life and share with the rest of the world.


When I'm not writing, I work- hard. I just graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors of Sciene in  Communication. I do plan on going for my Masters but I'm on the fence on which program to tackle. A decision for a different day.


All in all, I just want to share my perspective through the written word. I hope you enjoy the journey...


 


***Update***


Writing has been some what of a hit or miss with me lately and I've had to do some rethinking. With that reflection, I've decided to take Underneath It All down and a few other stories. At this point, I'm not sure whether I'll ever be published but it is not out of the realm of possibilities. I want to thank all of those who read and enjoyed my work. Your insight and feedback has been invaluable.

Title: Duplicity

Such a powder keg waiting to blow.  This is brewing to massive proportions; Merle/Sean is acting all out of shorts,Layla's officially in love with Merle and John is about to be all up in Merle's biz. Oh and Nicole just might have gotten a whiff of the familiar. Yes, this is going to be some wedding.

I'm trying to gauge whether John will reveal Merle/Sean or will Layla happen upon Sean as he's working out in the am? Oh, how much I would love it to be Sean...

Title: Duplicity

Poor Sean...Some how, i think that the extraction isn't going to be as simple as Mikhail thinks. It's just so sad because while I figured that there was something off about Sean ( the whole kid in the alley thing really confirmed it in a big way), I still love him as a character. He's got depth...and the hots for Layla. It's heart breaking to say the least.

I can't wait to see where you go with this.

I  loved this chapter! Merri's hesitancy is quite endearing and relatable. I love that Caleb was attentive and didn't judge- he seems willing to go all the way with her even though he's trying to tell himself that this is strictly business.  That's malarky...Caleb wants Merri something wicked and judging  by how much he loved his snack, lol.

Title: Chapter 3: Could I give you all of me?

I enjoyed this chapter so much because of the red hot passion. But that's not the only reason- we get a glimpse into the mind of Sienna and see just what those barriers are made of. She's afraid of letting people in because she can't trust them enough not to hurt her. She's savy enough to know that John's flawed but she can't help that his devilish ass holds the key to her heart (oh, she has no idea what she's in store for, lol). I think that every time these two are together, another piece of her wall comes tumbling down. It's a victory, for sure but with each exposed piece, she's scouring to cover it, which of course,throws mixed signals.

LOL, these two just can't find completion, can they?

Title: Chapter 1: Click!

I loved it on the first go around and on the second trip is just as enjoyable. I had to psych  myself up to get back to these two; their opposing walls and defiant barriers do tend to work on a nerve. But this chapter was full of passion, dangerous passion and the beginning of such a tumultuos ride.

Title: Chapter 2: The Beginning

I liked this chapter because it shows a less cynical Sienna. Even though she's already been through enough bull to last her the rest of her life, she's still that innocent doe eyed teenager that's going to blend in. Her thirst for  information and her ability to siphon out the crap is what endears me to her ( it's only when she begins to stand steadfast behind those blasted walls that she pricks my nerves). She's self assured, especially in this arena of her life. She's positive and refreshing. No wonder she caught a certain someone's eyes.

Title: Chapter 3: Pink Bottoms

 This walk through  memory lane reaffirms my thoughts about these two- they were meant to be together. From the first moment their eyes locked, it was game on  and even now as their drama is beginning to kick into high gear, it remains affirmed that they belong together. They're each other's perfect foil.

Now, time to delve into the messy valley that is John and Sienna :D.
