And I'd like to know how it is that EVERYONE but Bre's mother hates Vincent? What exactly is she seeing that the others arent? I wonder if her mother thinks that's strange, but I know someone has pointed that out to her.

And what demons are Bre dealing with? What is she hiding deep inside herself to put up with this?

That's making me give Aubrey a small side-eye for that one. However, I'm glad she told Vinny off and I hope she means it; really means it.

And Vinny..just make it hurt really bad for him. Thats all I ask. Also, somebody take care of that trick Ashley. Is she that  jealous of Aubrey? And why?

Ok, umm...yeah. I'm afraid I'm with Irish on this one. No teasing! Everybody is grown here, so either put your money where your mouth is and back that shit up; or backYOUR shit up and be gone! What the hell was Ambi doing? She was all over the place like some lunatic. Aint that much dong in the world to act that much a fool over! Is she looking for some type of meaning here..lol! And she seems mad because he's not taking it for something more. But, why? Its a one night stand! It is what it is. No judging. In truth, they are complete strangers, and all she really knows is his name; but if that's what she (and he) wants, then what's the problem here? Actually, she seems more conflicted about her actions than anything.

LOL..Ambi needs to get it togehter here. She acting a little cray cray!!

Ok, I'm LOVING this story! The characters seem to have a commonality going back generations, and that intrigues me. 

Kiero is an interesting one. I like the layers you are creating for him. Its going to something to see his evolution.

Palesa is his mate, I'm guessing? Is that what the pull towards her about? 

Armelia is deranged, and I cant wait for you to reveal her to us. Attacking a little boy like that; she has to die a painfully horrible death, right?

Its fluid, with enough moving parts to keep it engaging without losing the reader. Oftentimes, too many subplots lose the reader to the storyline. This reads clear with all the supporting characters being set up to play an integral part in the story.

OMG!! Wow! Wow! Wow! My mind is spinning! You revealed so much here! The backstory is incredible! I may need to read it again to fully understand all the connections here; because there are a lot of them!

Once again I'll say, I'm glad Kiero is smart, gives smart advice, and has smart people areound who take it. I'm talking about Draven and Zeke now. With the many nuances and motives of those around him (and them), relying on, and, trusting commonsense is imperative. This is refreshing! I'm loving this with them.

Now, Armelia...dare I say that I feel bad for her? Is she really just a pathetic puppet in all of this? A child turned and grew up to be used in a horrible way, against her will, when in her right mind. Is she another tortured soul that needs to be set free as well? That's what I got out of it. And believe me, I don't want to like her - which I still don't - or feel pity for her in any way!

James, he's ripe for the plucking for this vampire to use. I don't trust him at all. Even if his mind was tampered with, he was willing, initially, to put Palesa through that for his own selfish gain.

And even though there is still a creep factor here with Palesa and Kiero, which Kiero acknowledged (lol) can I say, that after stepping through the portal having Kiero smile and turn to Palesa after she giggled at the botanicals made me smile. I don't know why, but that just struck me as such a precious and sweet moment between them.

And could this powerful uncle ( Modise ancestor) be this powerful vampire some how? There was a lot at the beginning of this chapter, but I'm not clear from it if he was definitively destroyed.

At least we know who and what now. There's still a lot of backstory, but at least this starting to make some sense. 

Armelia has a mate! I hope Taric can save her somehow in all of this. So what about Kiero's father? What did I miss?

I love  that your characters arent stupid, Lindy! There are clear warnings of danger and they are heeded by those that need to. I've said it before, but it bears repeating.

I'm glad Kiero isrelaxing into his mating with Palesa. He's edgy, but he's fully embracing his marriage and love for her.

Palesa just want lots of hardcore loving right about now.....lol!

Armelia's backstory is so multifaceted and riveting, its crazy. I can't really hate her anymore. She's been a victim in the worst way in this as well. And this Sonia chick is something new, and dangerous.

Doing a wonderful job, Lindy. This story is shaping up to be quite good with each chapter. You have your plots, but they are not so may that the reader gets completely lost that they wonder what one has to do with the other. Continue to be careful of that. And they all weave together so that they are actually part of a larger story. 

I somehow completely missed this update..haha!

What are these chicks up to?? I'm guessing, or, rather, hoping Palesa and Kiero would be able to "feel" when someone or something is messing about in or around Palesa's head? These are extremely powerful beings and I would be surprised if they werent alerted in some fashion. 

I'm so ready for these two to get it on now..lol! Kiero is so gone!  I love that he told Palesa that he utterly and completely belongs to her! That there is nothing about him that his mate doesn't have a right to. *swoon* I'd jump him just for that! Sexiest damn words, ever!

This is driving me crazy!! That was a major move and it got interrupted!! Ughh!

Umm...Terri will take some getting used to. Having no basic compassion, sympathy, and empathy for your fellow man is kinda cold. She doesn't need to gush, but some basic humanity would be nice.That's my read on her based on her reaction; which rubbed me sort of wrong. With that said, I would really love some backstory on Terri because I would love to know who rained on her parade. Is she really that cold?

I like Laila.

And poor Daniel. I guess he knows who his friends and family really are. No one. Good to know just in case they all start knocking on his door when he becomes successful. Just know what you're dealing with is all.
