That was crazy! Jerome was totally unexpected.

I want to see where this is going in your author's mind because it seems like every urban cliche there is is in this story. 

Also, Ky brought her roommate with her, but she leaves her like that? She didn't seem like she wanted her there all that much in my oipinion; but to just leave her like that, no matter if she did ask her (which I don't know if she did), is rude as hell to me. She leaves her in a place where she is uncomfortable at, and alone with people she doesn't know. I don't think anyone would appreciate that.

I don't Lincoln is that kind of a bad guy, really. He was in school trying to do better in life when this mess happened. He is still young enough get something done.

Yeah, it is trending differently. I just don't really understand how yet.

I worry about Declan's presence in Mallory's life. He's her friend now, but that wasn't how he started out. Does he really accept this role in her life? It doesn't seem from the little that's been revealed, that she felt the same way. Declan is too close to both in somewhat uncomfortable ways to me.

Rory is just really a hot mess! His parents really did a number on him. And where are these parents of theirs?

I wonder if there is a way to get her sight back? What is the extent of her injuries? 

I'm not surprised to find out that Rory would have something like OCD because it sounds like his parents probably highjacked his life for their own purposes. Its probably the only thing he could "control" so to speak. Since Declan is so much younger than Rory, he probably never understood what was going on with him until after the accident. All that other stuff was just a facade.

This chapter was almost painful to read because you really captured some of the physical manifestations of OCD well.

What's going right now with Declan and Mallory isn't a good idea. It for sure ins't healthy for either. Whether they admit it or not, Rory is between them. I just don't think Mallory can switch gears like that; from one brother to then next. If she really had a thin for Declan at any point since they've known each other, then Rory would never have found a way in. She gave him her virginity, right? That''s huge. She was smitten with Rory from day one. I think this is reactionary, from both of them. And Declan is just trying to claim a missed opportunity from way back. But I think that has come and gone. 

And Rory....my lord! I'm just agonizing over him right now. This man has been abused in the worst way by those two parasites that call themselves parents. They both make me sick! I really wanted him to stand up to them; instead he just fell apart right before their eyes. I didn't want them to see how much power they still had over him. He can't even be in the room with them and hold it together. How any mother could think that all that they put him through was "best" for him is beyond me. I want Rory healthy and his parents dealt with and exiled! I'm understanding Rory a lot better now.

And I also wonder, like Rory, how is it they forgot they had another son to share in the "legacy" they seem to be so preoccupied with? I can see now that Rory took the hit for Declan as well.

So, they added physical abuse to everything else they did to Rory. That was so painful to read. Rory needs help with so much. I feel for him so much. He still can't deal with his abusers. Because that's what his parents are; abusers. They need to be locked up.Especially that father of his.

And still don't understand how they lavished all their love on Declan and then treat Rory like that. I'm not blaming Declan for what his parents did to Rory, but he has nothing to whine about. He got the best of it all. Where is his fighting for his brother in their lives instead of crying about a girl. In some ways, I don't see him as any better than their parents. He watched and hid behind his brother so he could have a life outside of family business responsibility. Because at some point, be had to have know something was wrong there.

I need justice for Rory.

And I don't even know what any of this means for him and Mallory. Time will tell with that.

Ohhhh....I like that connections are being made! I was hoping that it wouldn't be a long drawn out process to put the pieces together. And Nancy is at the center of it all!

I can imagine what its going to be like for her when all these people - her family - come out of the woodwork. Her parents owe her an explanation and the fact that her "mother" is still treating her like trash galls me!!

It kinda bothers me that Tam has to be the one dissatisfied with how she looks. Why? While Jayden looks even better than ever? Pet peeve. 

The kids are gold! And he touched both of them that day! The relationship the kids have with him now is quirky and cute.

Ok, the twins and that whole bit with the heathen part of the conversation until they walked out the door was just hilarious! Jayden is going to LOVE those two! LOL!

His parents; whats the deal with these two sick bastards? Why do they need to have such a place of honor in their sons' life? Its like he has to be hurt and needy for them to feel comfortable. That is really creepy.
