I love that Mitch said to Jaime that it wasn't a mistake and he thought that there could be something there. That was sweet and sexy. I think I liked that best about the chapter...lol!

Annnnd that's how I wanted this to go!! YES!! Its time for them to get back together. This was big. This was the moment she had been waiting for most of her life. And Dmitri came. Not being asked, but because he knew she would need him. I'm also anxious for some loving to get going for these two :)

Title: Chapter 17: Chapter 16

First, I think Sasha needed something like this, and its probably been a long time coming. She has to finally define herself as a person, and not let the awful hurt of rejection, that has cut so very deep define it for her. She may have been out of line, but she did it out of her own knowledge and experience with love. Unfortunately, that experience has been crap. This part made me ache for Sasha..."A life that was spent loving everyone with all her might only to find out that in the end they didn’t consider her worthy enough to love back." So, now, she can take that degree and maybe live abroad and grow as a person, as a professional, and become a bit more wordly. Hopefully this experience will help her recognize true friends when she has them and to love herself, even if no one else does. I really don't believe Sasha was malicious in her intent at all. This is her opportunity to really grown and become her own woman, away from everyone else.

Second, Dmitri...wow...he he's just as bad a Sasha. He has some serious unresolved issues that his mother had no business dragging him in between her and her husband. That whole family situation is just sad and pitiful. The results of affairs with pregnancies involved. He has to sort that out becausehe's just as emotionally stunted with love and all that goes with it as Sasha.

And whatever happened with their parents, it wasn't Dominic's fault. I know he blames Dominic's birth as partly to blame, but what went down was between the grown folks, not the babies.  I see his line of thinking for blame as a child, but to blatanly differentiate between Dominic and Nadia is part of his problem. He needs some serious intervention as well.

As for their father, I don't even what to say until we get the full story about his relationships with his children.

 

I liked this chapter. I cant wait to see what Sasha has made of herself.

Why is Sasha shaking like a leaf around Dominic?? If anything, I thought she would be more indifferent towards that whole family after the way she was treated.

And I don't know what to make of Dominic and exchanging numbers with Sasha. I'm going to choose to believe that ultimately its for Dmitri somehow. I din't think he'd ever betray his brother like that, no matter what has happened between them.

Nadia is still a little snot. She should apologize to Sasha for her overall behavior towards her. 

Dmitri..meh, whatever!

Ok, well....here goes

As much as I hate to admit it, Natalia is right. I believe Dmitri would use that wholely inappropriate occasion as a "fuck you" to his father. Nikolai deserves one, but I'm not sure when his life is depending on how calm he stays is the time for it. That moment will present itself in Sasha's behalf.

Now, Natalia and the whole backstory with her is a bit more complex. She was the other woman, and that's not generally condoned amongst most people. However, the entirety of that backstory has not been reveiled up to this point.

I usually don't spare homewrecking ho's at all, and she seems to be hurt that Dmitri thinks she's no more than a gold-digging harlot. So that leaves me to believe something more happened. It still doesn't explain Nikolai's behavior, but the whole truth might not be known concerning that. Of course she would cry it was all just powerful love as to why she married Nikolai. Yeah, sure. Right. That's the thing that needs to be resolved between Dmitri and his father. We shall see.

As far a Teagan goes, honestly, I'm not feeling the love connection that's being set up with Carter at all. I personally think Carter can do better. And when it comes to men, she acts a little too much like her other two cohorts.

Teagan has always kinda bothered me concerning her friendship with those two vipers and how they treated Sasha. I don't get how she can connect with someone like Sasha, and still jive with two people who are basically shallow, cruel, mean and just plain nasty. And she never said much about it. Even with having friends that are polar opposite, that always seemed a bit much.

This was good! It was a big step for Sasha. I hope she builds up more confidence and strength as time goes by, but this was an excellent start for her. With her feelings of abandonment, none of this is easy, but I think she just might get there. 

And I'm glad Teagan turned out to be a better friend than I first thought.

Dina is going to be a good friend to Sasha as well.

First, its good Dmitri is trying to makes things right with his brother. Take that out on his father and stepmother, the ones who actually deserve it!

Also, I'm glad Sasha is going to stay. Not for Dmitri, but for herself. He doesn't have to grovel, but she need not make it easy for him either. She won't. Before she gave everything she had, now he has to earn it. And Sasha doesn't hate Dmitri, really. It all just cuts too deep and too much, and she went further with him than anyone else before. That's why she reacted the way she did. But, now lets keep it moving and see how they both do.

Title: Chapter 29: Chapter 28

Awwww.....crying! I've waited all weekend knowing this would be the end. This chpater was everything I was hoping for for Sasha's end. Dmitri came through as only a man secure in his love for his woman and of the love of his woman. He thought of everything and it was truly all about being the perfect day for her for him. Can't ask for more than that! Truly a wonderful and lovely wedding.

So glad Dina is back, but Slade and Dominic can go suck it. Neither one deserves her. That story should be interesting.

I hope Sasha moves her grandfather to Boston close to her. Just scoop him up and go have dinner with them any old time and for the future kids to have their GGP around all the time. It would be perfect for them all.

This story morphed into something spectacular and you tapped into so many emotions and family dynamics here with these two characters. They both changed and grew separately as well as together. And they became something even better together in the end.

Outstanding!!

P.S The one-shots with Sasha and Dmitri every once in a while would be great! Just to keep up with them :-)

Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 18

I just reread Sasha's parting word to Dmitri again in chapter 16. I need for her to have some of that bravado in this situation. Those words were good words, and the meaning and history behind them were heartfelt and good. I don't want her to lose sight of that and lose all the  ground she has gained personally. Falling apart would be like stepping backwards. And part of Sasha's problem is she let her neediness for love and acceptance dictate how people treated her. Would I expect shock, yes, but I also don't expect her to break down in Dmitri's presence either. That just wont be necessary.

I also expect her to say her peace with those other two skanks and be done with them once and for all.

And yeah, Teagan is simply getting too old for that stuff. Grow up and find a better, more constructive way to have fun rather than get pissy drunk and flirt with her life or an STD like that.

I'm thinking its his father at the door. And I like that Dmitri is changing in his ways and thinking about what he thought he knew or wanted about women.

I think Sasha is being very sophisticated in her dealings with Dmitri. She's intuitive enough to know when to back off; not only for him, but for herself as well. She's coming into her own, and her own self-worth.

Title: Chapter 20: Chapter 19

There were some interesting things going on here.....

First, with Carter, there was no need to lie to him about her connection to either Dominic or Dmitri. What happened isn't all that unusual and the lie makes it seem like there is something to hide. She could just tell him it was a long time ago and its not up for discussission. 

And this is a good opportunity for Dmitri and Sasha. Dmitri can take this time to show Sasha something that no one has ever done; that she's worth fighting for. That she really matters enough to someone to fight for. Fight for her time, her attention, and her love. Not to be taken as a joke, for granted, and then disregarded. Before, all he told her was that getting her meant nothing and was nothing. To show her something different in a concrete, real way is the heartbeat of Sasha. Even if Sasha is unaware it is. In her innermost self, that's what she longs for. That will truly turn Sasha around. And I think Dmitri has it in him.

Dmitri also has his own demons in that department to slay. His own father and family. He needs to make amends with his brother. He's not at fault about his parents.

Second, Faye, what is she, five? What does Teagan leaving have to with Sasha staying?  And why is Teagan, or Jaelynn, for that matter, friends with this shallow, selfish, rude skank? Its starting to make me wonder about them a little. And only because every time she gets around Sasha she can only seem to attack.

And Sasha held up pretty well with Dmitri.

Ok, what the f**k is wrong with all these damn people and Sasha?!! These "friends" of hers can all go straight to hell! And I'm wondering if Sasha is mentally stable herself for dealing with these bitches! Sometimes that word just fits. 


And Dmitri with that trophy wife comment? And being severely average?Then what exactly is this "courting" business all about? Does he just want to use her to rid himself of some strange attraction he finds himself in? What maturity does he display here? He's playing games and its not funny. He can just kiss it, too! He's low-rent scum with money and a pretty face! So what! Not worth the time that I can see right now. 


Whatever else she may be, Sasha isn't some dirty little past time to prove a point. Nor is she trash for people to dump on. She's getting higher education and working towards a serious goal in life. What the hell is everybody else doing? Besides partying and wasting their lives away, I mean. Sasha's got depth of character and heart. However, I am getting tired of all that damn stuttering she's doing! Dmitri aint nobody to be scared of! She's probably smarter than him anyway. Geez!


She needs to stop defining herself by those losers she call "friends." She has them all - including Dmitri - beat hands down and doesn't even realize it.

First, that was an awesome first time! Very nice. Dmitri was sweet, considerate, and gentle with Sasha.

Second, I'mma need Sasha to grow a pair with Nadia.

The fact that this nasty heifer could say that to her brother's friend like that tells me all I need to know. And Sasha does NOT have to take that just because she's with Dmitri and that is his sister. I need for her to realize that in a hurry. And to notinternalize everything other people do and filter it out to be that there is something wrong on her end. I understand her feeling about being thrown away by her family, but that doesn't mean that every single time something happens, she should automatically make herself the blame, no matter what it is. It annoys me that she does that. I think she's smarter than that.

I need for her to speak her mind about it to Dmitri, tell him her feelings on the matter; which is she wont be taking that kind of behavior, and go on about her business with full knowledge that she gave Dmitri a heads up. That way when she needs to handle miss Nadia, there will be any bullsh*t coming from Dmitri. If there is, then he needs to check that sister he and his family has coddled.

Besides, does she really want to be a woman that cant stand up for herself and handle these types of things on her own? That's just a life lesson in general.

I feel your frustration (maybe a little less since I'm writing it but lets' just ignore that minor detail lol). that is definitely one of the lessons she needs to learn and i think it will be one of the hardest for her since she still has a somewhat low opinion of herself and her worth. LOL...Wow!

Sasha, I'm not surprised about. After what happened with her mother, I think that changed something deep within her and she has decided she's had just about enough of other peoples' bullsh*t. Her mother gave her away because of her own bullsh*t. Dmitri broke her heart because of his bullsh*t. Nikolai treats her like trash because of his bulsh*t. Yep, she's tired of being the punching bag for everybody else's bullsh*t. Good for her! 

Dmitri...good for him.

Now, Dom, and Nadia did surprise me. I'm glad they decided to speak up and finally acknowledge that Dmitri is not the crazy one here.

Natalia came around. Dmitri broke it down for her and his father! Its hard to ignore the truth. Trying to front and pretend Natalia is something that she's not and then deem Sasha unworthy of the same thing! Ughh! 

A big part of this thing is Dmitri's resentment of how his mother was treated, and because of that, I think Natalia needs Dmitri's approval. She helped break his family up and that's hard to sleep on at night. She wants to make it right in her own way the best she can.

I'll be sorry when this ends.
